It would be so interesting to know why he had a hire car in the first place and if the hire car was returned.

Presumably, her DNA would have been all over it even after a professional valet!

In another way, the hire car also adds to my run-over-panic theory. Another issue to explain away as it isn't his car. I really would like to know if the car was returned - and returned undamaged.

Regarding the clothes found - what is the mathematical probability of finding an unrelated pair of black and white trousers and white top in a paper recycling bin in an area of interest?

Source for this?

At around 15 seconds on this video LE can be heard saying “He said recycling though didn’t he, so I’m guessing” then trails off.

I wonder if that means WC has been speaking. Or if they’re referring to instructions?

I live on a busier road than Poynders, and have no trouble believing she could have been kidnapped - it's the most likely scenario imo. The chances of someone looking out their window at the exact time it happened are low, and with lockdown there just aren't as many cars or pedestrians out as normal. Plus any sound, particularly if it were short lived, wouldn't constitute enough to go and look if I lived nearby.

I have to agree with this. I was recently walking in south London at night (approx 8pm ish) and a woman was on the street corner by herself just screaming. Police passed and didn’t stop and no one else did either. It’s doesn’t shock me that no one saw it more surprised me that it kept being quoted as disappearing into thin air. With the technological age that we are in I just couldn’t wrap my head around there being nothing captured and with the court statement I now see that that is not the case MOO

I live in another big UK city. It's noisy and busy all the time. There are people out and drunk and noisy, addicts fighting, domestic situations, you name it. People very rarely stop or take notice. So I can well believe a sort of 'quick scuffle' near a car could go completely unnoticed.

Absolutely this.

Interesting! But I do find it odd that Police are allowing someone to film unobstructed

Were the clothes found in the recycling bin? I assume it's one of those donation bins?

Honestly lowkey one of the smartest moves the alleged could make, though it doesn't account for there being so much attention on the victim
If the alleged had done this before, there's a degree of cockiness or very real cluelessness going on imo
Source for this?
Sorry I’m very new here. There was a video linked a few pages back that showed the police emptying the paper recycling bin and coming across the clothes - it was a live feed. They just drop them onto the floor of the car park - I wonder if they were trying to play it low key to avoid a media frenzy ensuing. Maybe someone who knows what they are doing can share the link if it is one that is allowed.

They can't be looking for anything 'sensitive' or they would have it covered.

They're hardly going to pull an arm out while someone is stood with an iphone 10 foot away.

Well i defo heard the statement you are referring too.. curious! Could be the accused is talking or like you said instruction from superior?!?

If this question has been asked before, I apologize in advance.
Can someone tell me, if DNA can be extracted from a suspect in Britain? Or do you have to be found guilty of a crime first?
Yes fingerprints and DNA can be taken arrest.

They would already have his DNA and prints tho because all serving police officers have to give samples to eliminate them from crime scenes. Which makes me doubt his involvement in any unsolved crimes where DNA was left.

May be something that someone thought the alleged could have done?
If the clothes are missing they must have ended up somewhere

If any crime scene technician found evidence that could be the actual clothes worn by the victim, they would immediately bring them to a clean location to be properly processed and probably immediately notify a superior. They would never, ever throw them on the floor to ACTIVELY PARTICIPATE in further contaminating them. Victim clothes can have perpetrator DNA on them. I promise no tech wants to be the person torn apart on cross examination or be the reason evidence is excluded or suppressed.

If the “he” mentioned in the video was WC they would get him to be specific about which recycling bin and probably even have him identity it on a photo or video of the area. JMO
