Police say they are 'concerned for the safety' of a missing woman.

Saskia Soo, 28, from the Arnold area of Nottinghamshire, is believed to be in Cheshire, according to officers.

Saskia went missing on Tuesday, August 10 and police say they do not know what the 28-year-old was wearing when she went missing.

Police are now appealing for the public to come forward with any information they may have on the whereabouts of Saskia or to get in touch if they have seen her.

A Cheshire police spokesperson said: "Officers in Nottinghamshire are concerned for the safety of 28-year-old Saskia Soo.

"Saskia was reported missing on August 10 and is believed to be in the Cheshire area.

Nottinghamshire Police have appealed for help to find a missing 28 year old who has connections to Grimsby and Cleethorpes.

Saskia Soo was last seen on August 10 in the Arnold area of Nottingham; however, it is not known what she was wearing at the time of her disappearance.

It is believed the 28 year-old previously lived in Grimsby during her teenage years before moving to Nottingham.

New update here - with pics.

She seems to have been seen in Chester a few days ago, at the rail station and a cafe. Then travelled back to Nottingham where she bought a £74 rail ticket to an unknown destination.

She has been removed from the official Missing People list, so it must be taken that she has made contact with police and that they have decided that they can no longer consider her 'missing'.

This post I think explains the situation. I do hope this woman is okay. Obviously her friends are still worried.

That's awful. I hope she's alright, it doen't seem like she's in a particularly stable frame of mind.

So glad this page exists. I was friends with Saskia many years ago and when I saw her post dissappear from the Missing website I panicked. This has at least got me a few answers, thank you

Worth including a description from today’s post. Family have done a bit of digging and she sold a large amount of Bitcoin before she left. This money will soon be drying up so she will then have to rely on food banks and shelters. The only reason they think she’s in Newport is the price of her train ticket. It is the only one that matches train ticket to her transaction. So hope the family can appeal the polices decision to deem her safe. It seams harsh to me. Another thing I would like to know what evidence the police deemed her safe. I can appreciate they have cctv from Argos with the camping gear& transactions but what’s there evidence that Saskia is eating and drinking properly as they claim?
