POLICE are concerned for the welfare of a missing woman.

Sophie Griffiths, from Seaford, was last seen in Redhill, Surrey, on Monday, November 22.

The 29-year-old has not been in contact with her friends or family since then.

Police believe she may have travelled to Horley.

Sophie is white, 5ft 4in, slim and has brown mid-length hair worn in a ponytail.

When last seen she was wearing a black knee-length coat with a furry trim on the hood, blue jeans and black Adidas trainers.

Anyone with information on Sophie’s whereabouts is asked to report it online or call 101, quoting serial number 1288 of 22/11.

Police have issued a new CCTV image of a woman who went missing in Redhill three days ago and told residents there will be "a lot of police activity" as they search for her.

Sophie Griffiths, 29, was last seen in the town centre and has not made contact or been seen since.

The last contact with her family was on November 20 and they are reportedly extremely concerned for her welfare.

Detective Sergeant Lisa Betchley said: “Our search for Sophie remains ongoing and we are doing everything we can to find her and ensure she is safe and well.

“Sophie is from East Sussex so it is possible she has gone back there but at the moment we are focusing our search in the Redhill area.

"If you saw Sophie or you have any other information, please come forward.”

Her brother has confirmed on the Crawley Community Group she was located at Horsham station last night, and collected by family. Positive ending. Hope she is okay.
