Donald Trump has been subpeonaed to court to give evidence that he was a close friend of SK.
He will also be questioned to ascertain whether he ever crept into SK`s apartment and did naughty things:laughing:

Court didn`t start until 12 o`clock as OM unwell.
It seems the trial will continue beyond the 11th.

Lots of updates above so won`t repeat.

A lot was made of the fact that in the video which we viewed again, Sophie was wearing long sleeves/high neck. In fact at some point she was given SK`s pyjamas to wear...
Lots of more focused questions on where the boys were when Sophie`s body was put in their rooms.
Tortoise - there was one incident where SK beat Sophie with a flex and she couldn`t walk and was covered in bruises.
Then there was another incident - I`m unclear of exact details and when it was first discussed - but unless I missed it today (left 3.20), it may be dealt with tomorrow.
I`m a bit confused - there were repeated assumptions put to OM as to why, now that they had the "evidence", they didn`t go to the police. Barrister kept stating it was because she was covered in bruises and obviously they didn`t want anyone to see this. OM repeatedly denied this was the reason, but he was never directly asked, "Well -what *was * the reason for you not going to the police now that you had the evidence you needed?" I don`t know why he wasn`t asked this, as I would have thought this was a key point.
Also, we have jumped to the aftermath...what was done with Sophie`s body...the fire...the police..the no comment interview.., but a big chunk in the timeline was bypassed - the actual events leading up to and surrounding the "bath scene". Maybe tomorrow?

Oh - and to my delight (NOT!!), yet another support person has appeared alongside SK in the dock - totalling FOUR now - so....

1. Interpreter (massively expensive)
2. Medical person
3. Appropriate adult
4. Some unknown woman (maybe soothsayer? spiritual guru? personal masseur?).

Someone kindly filled me in on end of trial on Friday (I left early).
SK getting £1,600 benefits - presumably some of this was Housing Benefit, but she was not paying her rent . According to the Landlord she was £10,000 behind in rent arrears.
When he was working he was on £46,000.
Other stuff but unsure whether it was actually spoken about in court, so will check before posting...

Not yet..

We wondered whether this extra person at SK`s beck and call is because she is due to testify any time now.
All I know is, is that it will be a late start on Monday - probably 12 o`clock but possibly 2 o`clock (brain dead at the mo and can`t remember reason why!)

Ah...you are smart. That theory has been put to OM today, more than once! But actually, it doesn`t make sense and I don`t believe it.
I think madness just overwhelmed them.

What does the 4th woman do? Is she making notes or maybe SK's on suicide watch? Is she just one of the court security guards? They are supposed to have guards in the dock with them.

She`s not a guard and she`s not making notes.

SK definitely appears tranquillised.

Is she refusing to get in the van that brings them to court?
Did she cause some drama last night at the prison? Demanding to have a sick note?:drama:

The mind boggles. It's probably just last minute preparations for redirect of OM, or legal argument.

Well I'm thinking it through. They had the confession and so there was no more need for the bath torture..

Sadly, I think this was planned because they could not come back from what they had done by then. She was too badly injured and they realised it only meant trouble for them once they reported MW. Sophie would be the police's first appointment, and how could they hide her? She could escape to a neighbour or out into the street while they went to sleep, and call the police herself, so they couldn't leave her alone for a minute.

Just had a thought. Could it be a second interpreter? What if SK takes the stand and starts babbling and screaming and wildly gesticulating and the initial interpreter translates as, "SK admits everything. She admits she`s a psychopathic loon and made it all up".

Now - there`s a thought
