LIVE: Star Hobson murder trial - Day 10 - medical evidence due
Thank you so much for posting about beautiful Star . I am surprised there has been so little feeds. I have been following this case daily as well as poor little Arthur and totally agree the girlfriend was totally controlling and still is controlling it all from court. Not a shed of guilt or hurt from her for what she did.. just about how she feels and her needs.. what about poor Star and what she needed and deserved as an innocent child. Have you actually been into the court then and seen these evil people?

No I havent summer,, there is so many things I want to say bout some of the injuries but wait to put on them on ere when trial over.. but agree 2 controlling girlfriends for both cases.. The reason this story caught my eye last year because my daughter is savanna-jai and it's unusual name.. Read the story and the whole situation was smelling foul to me.. it's been hard following it every day word for word but thought least I could do is here this poor babies story.. forget my quote before it's Frankie statements today

I think they're both as bad as each other tbh. I believe they both harmed little star. I hope none of the footage is released afterwards as just reading about it is bad enough!

SB very confident on the stand so far.

Her narrative of the cctv at the recycling plant however, throughly unconvincing. Not a chance was a 16 month old acting like a rabid dog - growing, biting herself, throwing her head around and choking herself. Especially if, by SB own admission, Star had never displayed this behaviour before when in SB company.

I’m hopeful the jury are of the same opinion…

I hope the prosecuting lawyer really pins her down. From the transcripts SB sounds smart, fluent and confident. But surely there's NO way she can wriggle out of the video evidence at the recycling plant? even though she explained away every frame as 'I was moving her head towards me' and 'I was trying to stop her biting herself'.

I think SB is used to being in control and people following her commands. Her job would require her to be self assured, authoritative, use her own initiative and pretty quick to assess situations. She’s definitely wily! Without a doubt, this woman has never had someone question her or not follow her lead. She is very confident on the stand, almost arrogant and cocky at times. But that cctv I am hopeful will nail her.

I really hope so. She is absolutely so cocky! arguing on the stand! " I think there's a language barrier between the two of us on what words mean Mr Ali." (!!)

This again will be because he’s holding her accountable and that’s not something she is used to, nor likes. It also plays in very well to her defence of being a gypsy. Very cunning! I’m taking the juror questioning things as a good sign, they’re picking up on her nuances and lies.

SB smiling on the stand will do her no favours….

Zafar Ali QC is absolutely brilliant!!! If she goes back to her cell at the end of each day and genuinely believes she's getting away with this then she really is deluded! He is spot on with everything he's saying. I like hearing the Jury and Judge comments (never seen this happen before).. Gives a small insight into what they think with their questions.
