GUILTY UK - Steven Donaldson, 27, murdered, Loch of Kinnordy, Scotland, 6/7 June 2018

Think we'll have verdicts before the weekend?

I think we will. I think the two men will be found guilty and she'll be found guilty of culpable homicide as the prosecuter did ask the jury to not even consider that so it is an option for them.

Hoping today is the day!

Not that any verdict or sentence is really justice or closure for Steven's family, especially if Tasmins baby IS their grandchild!

Sigh ...

Guess this means no verdict now til Tuesday at the earliest!

Shame about TG only getting culpable homicide, but I'm glad the jury saw through all the nonsense.

Glass' QC tells court she will "require to get used to the fact she will have to be removed from her son for a very considerable period of time". Her son is 4 months old. Donaldson is believed to be the father.

I guess it's over for today, can't find any mention of a sentencing date.

A farce outside court with random Edinburgh tourists gathering around the media who are waiting outside. I was asked to move by one American lady so she could see better.

Well! Bloody hell!

It said the high court closes at 4.45 so I thought that was it til Tuesday!

I think that's the verdict that was expected to be honest and is much better than her being allowed to walk free! And no bail! Good. Bet she thought she'd get another month of freedom to enjoy for pre-sentence reports.

I think it was pretty cheeky to even ask for bail.

I'm left feeling glad the trial is over but utterly devastated and mind fluffed that SO much heartbreak has been caused to so many ... and for what?

Davidson & Dickie seem feral!
Glass a spoilt little madam who manipulates and lies as naturally as you or I would breathe.

So many victims ... Steven Donaldsons loved ones - how do you recover from hearing that evidence? 2 babies caught in the fallout ...

3.7 Definition of murder and culpable homicide
Murder
is committed when the accused has acted with the intention of killing the victim or where the accused's conduct has been 'wickedly reckless'.

Culpable homicide is committed where the accused has caused loss of life through wrongful conduct, but where there was no intention to kill or 'wicked recklessness'. This may also be considered where in law the accused is found to be of "diminished responsibility" because of some mental illness, or where there was provocation.

Wicked recklessness will be inferred from the circumstances of the accused's actions. Normally this will be based on the severity of the injuries and other factors about the nature of the assault.

In some cases, an accused may be charged initially with murder but Crown Counsel may decide that the evidence does not support a murder charge. The accused will then be tried on a charge of culpable homicide or, possibly another charge such as assault. Changes like this can also happen during the trial.

BBM - from the evidence I've heard ... no, I don't believe Glass intended, planned or even wanted Steven Donaldson 'Dead' BUT, I do think that it was 'wickedly reckless' to ask 2 men with the history of Davidson & Dickie to 'speak to' Donaldson ... she heard one of them say that Steven was going to get 'a hiding', she set up the meeting, she drove Callum to pick up a baseball bat for goodness sake! Nobody takes a fluffing baseball bat for 'a quiet word' ... I feel that what she did was the epitome of 'wickedly reckless' :(

Thanks everyone for the updates.

Feel quite emotional for the family. I’m glad they all have been found guilty but it doesn’t seem like justice.

Completely senseless and poor Steven had everything to live for. I hope life isn’t kind to those 3 for the rest of their days.
