And YidArmyRach, when i got custody of my kids i was a drug dealer with lots of criminal convictions, one of which was for having a machete..
I say the above at the risk of alienating myself on WS just so you and others know that were not all the SAME!..
I shall now bolt back to my corner...

Are you familiar with the geography of the district and if so, how difficult would it have been for SH to get to the fun-fair via public transport or on foot before CS arrived home, taking into account that SH's time-line allows him a couple of hours after he claimed Tia left the house and CS arrived there

The child may have died many hours prior to noon on Friday of course, which would have given him plenty of time to suss out a friend from the fun-fair. Or, he could have phoned (public phone) the friend and asked him to bring a vehicle around to the house

He'd be cutting it a bit fine, wouldn't he, in approaching the fun-fair after six and with CS in tow. How did he imagine he'd be able to take the body from the loft with CS (and possibly others) in the house, once they'd raised the alert with NS and police were involved

I know the area very well, indeed the route from the home to the fun-fair would go past the end of my road. Public Transport would be ok, but probably involve a change of buses. However to the best of my knowledge the fair opens only in the evening.

Is it possible that the idea of a traveller friend helping out only occurred to him (them?!!!?) later in the day.

It's this simple, you do not go to a fair 3/4 miles away when someone has been apparently missing in a town centre, 3/4 miles away in a different direction. It is simply a ridiculous waste of search time. If he went there is wasn't to look like he had been looking for Tia.

I would feel differently if it had been said "Tia wanted to go to the funfair this evening" or similar"

So why doesn't anyone remember seeing them, or at least Hazell, who gave quite a detailed account of his search? I don't think the funfair was ever visited. Maybe he'd thought about going there and then it just became part of the lies.

I've explained my theory. He was there looking for help. Only afterwards when he realised CCTV might be an issue did he make up the "asking around" bit. That's why nobody remembers. Because he didn't ask any questions.

I wonder if it was a last ditched attempt to remove the police and media from their doorstep.
He must have known Tia would not remain undetected in the loft for much longer.
Perhaps he hoped the police would do a compete mansearch of the local traveller sites. He might even have hoped someone would phone the police and say they saw her there on Friday evening.

i was the one who mentioned where the funfair rides were kept, and this was because somebody said that the fair may have just moved on somewhere.

i doubt the funfair people had anything to do with it at all , it was just a point of reference at the time of the post i was replying to.

I didn't suggest the funfair people got involved.

Sky reporting that the PM was put on hold to allow "tests" to be done. They expect the cause of death to be confirmed this afternoon.

  • #550
if you PM me those details i WILL NOT be posting them on any forum at all.

I live in WW, you not far. I'd rather meet in a pub than risk the ears of the world hearing the stuff that I've heard is being banded around.

Not a bit would I take back

My father was an officer in the British Navy. He could box Queensbury rules. He could fight dirty. I remember when we were young, he habitually got around with a short-handled axe, a gun and for some reason a spear-gun stuffed under the front seat of his van (this was before, like the UK, a mossad-sting posing a 'crazed lone gunman' massacre was utilized to seize guns from the populace here)

Suffice to say, no-one messed with our family, courtesy of our father's preparedness and warning that if anyone attempted to monster us, he wasn't going to go down without a fight, nor would he be the only one to get hurt. Everyone was very polite towards us. We lived a charmed life. For this reason, most natural women prefer alpa males as fathers for their children

My mother had been in the British Army, and she was quite handy in a crisis too, although generally speaking, my parents were both affable, popular and physically very attractive and intelligent

This world is a jungle, a zoo. Some of us are fortunate to live in the pretty, peaceful regions of that jungle. Others are not so lucky. You deal with what confronts you and you protect the family you create

Facing beasts with a smile and open hands might work in a Lennon song, but then in real life, old John wasn't averse to kicking heads. Nor was Christ

Was it just him looking around or did C.S join him? If not what was she doing in the hour or so he was at the fair?

I would think SH might have an unregistered mobile to contact some of his shadier friends.

Neither would I.

I can see you do not want to post rumours especially vile ones, but with out giving too much detail give the essence of what is being said-especially the interesting one.

are they about family relationships or the actual killing of Tia.

They are rumours concerning motive and more. Honestly, I'm nonethewiser with knowledge of the rumours, apart from the "interesting one", which would (if true) get this place into a frenzy....but as I can't believe them, what's the point?

And let's face it, family, friends, police are also trawling through here. Why throw vile rumours in their faces?

The thing with rumours is the get more vivid with each re-telling.

If locals knew that Tia was at risk from something then it was their duty to inform social services.

LOL

Well I'm not biting or asking for tenth hand rumours. I have my pride, lol

In any event, rumours abound. If a person is not prepared to post them and/or if they're not fit to post, then why mention them in the first place ?

Answer's obvious

So you keep your secrets, Moby

Because I wanted to point out that the locals believe there's a much bigger story developing. That's all. Honestly, I wish you were all in a pub where I'd feel safe telling you. However we are not in the pub.

Lol! MobyBluff will probably be careful not to allude to information he can't share in the future :D

Personally I feel safer only discussing or making hypotheses based on stuff that has already been in the public domain such as the press. I have no desire to be prosecuted or sued.

Thank you

Hey Moby, we're all on your side so please relax. We were just kidding. I understand as I'm sure does everyone here that your heart is in the right place and your principles are strong

As I said, we love you

Don't let it go to your head

:)

MobyBluff, can I remind you of something that someone has already pointed out a few posts back. It is against the rules of the forum to hint at rumors that cannot be posted in the forum. I can think of many reasons for that rule, not least of which that it can be irritating and trigger lots of offtopic posts about the Queen and her butler :)
