Hallo 47 Guests,

It is very easy to join .Why not join and add your views.

I lurked all through the Jo Yeates case and wish now I had joined then.

Thanks for the welcome :)
I'm not sure to be honest, there are a lot of theories on here, other sites etc that are completely plausible IMO. I feel maybe something is being overlooked with her. It's just nagging me!

i'm actually sure they may have enough on her to charge her but want to get all the results back from the PM to make sure.

i have a feeling that SH may have confessed and that's why they charged him so quickly.

It nags me too. I think she is involved in some way .I have a nagging feeling that other members of the family knew that she was not 'missing'.

i read all of the post before i joined as i thought it was a bit pointless quoting a post from 500 posts back.

plus i thought there's not much point joining then posting the same stuff so maybe they are slow readers lol

I think you're right in that they have enough to charge her, or at least nearly enough otherwise they wouldn't have arrested her to begin with. What do you think SH has confessed to? If he had confessed to murdering TS would it still go to trial?

i think he may have confessed to hiding the body.

they have charged him with murder which would be standard practice as he was the last person to see her etc.

if it turns out that he didn't murder her and it was an accident then the charges can be reduced.

it takes a whole new lot of paper work to do it the other way round.

Hi all

New here but have been following all your posts... This case has intrigued me from the start, that poor girl, god only knows at the moment what she has endured during her short life...

Not sure if I think CS was involved with the killing but I'm sure she knew. For all we know, she could have been as suspicious as the rest of us and approached the FLO to share her thoughts. Having then found the body, perhaps they then had to arrest her as they weren't sure of her involvement - likely that they're still not, hence why she is on bail.

I did find something very interesting earlier but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post... It's a persons Facebook of somebody that was mentioned in a recent link on here to do with NS.

Yeah, he could have confessed to hiding the body but then again, what would be his explanation behind it? Unless he is covering for CS, and they're waiting for him to crack and confess the truth to them so they have more evidence on her?

I am not sure why they arrested her-it could be just a precaution as she was the house owner and could be involved and they want to keep a close eye on her. The charge could change to a perverting the course of justice if they can prove she lied in some of her statements.

I do not think SH has confessed -I think they have to wait for the preliminary trial for a plea to be put in. Vincent Taback initially put in a non guilty plea then changed it to manslaughter but I am not sure at what stage he changed his plea.

you can still confess, you only plead guilty at court.

and as far as we know so far, he may have confessed to hiding a body but not killing her

also for all we know they may be waiting for all the tests to be done before they take it further with CS

once they know everything about the body they can then link who to what etc.

as for an explanation, i think that will be the big one at the trial.

Can Hazell have regular visitors while he's awaiting trial? Can Gran and the family go and see him, and if so, would the visits be supervised? Does anyone know the procedure? I know once someone's serving an actual sentence, they can have visitors, but I'm not sure how it works before the trial.

Does anyone even think the family will visit? I think they'll stay away so that people don't think they're supporting someone who might be responsible for Tia's death.

Regarding the tests that they are completing and results they are waiting for, do you think this could be to validate the fact that TS may have been smothered? Would that have not turned up in the PM that they completed today, or with the rate of decomposition would it be hard to define whether smothering had occurred? Is it a possibility that maybe toxicology results may provide a hint to TS possibly being drugged, accidental overdose and this is why it's taking so long?

On remand (before the trial) you can have more visitors and letters and phone calls etc, and you can spend your own money on what you want within reason. After conviction you can only have your prison allowance, and rationed visits and letters etc.

I would have thought the family, especially CS would have been regarded as witnesses which means they wouldn't be able to have any contact pre trial. I'm not sure if that is correct though!

They will also be looking closely at phone records ,any computer activity ,forensically testing items from the house and many other things.

I think the decomposition of Tia's body could make it hard to make too many links.

CS and Pm will not be able to

I don't know if they can stop you, though the two on bail can have that imposed as a condition, and of course in theory if they break bail conditions they can be arrested.

  • #720
but i honestly doubt anybody would want to anyway
