can you PM me with those details please

Hi India,

I posted earlier that I really don't want to be part of spreading any rumours, not even by PM because that makes me as bad as the people who started them, but the rumours are vile.

One isn't vile and its interesting, but it's also equally wrong to share that....

This theory might be more convincing if the body was moved, but it clearly wasn't. At least not far, and not by car.

I know it wasn't moved. It doesn't mean that they didn't go to the fair looking for assistance though.

It hasn't been established (as far as I know) that the family had connections with travellers, however, travellers are not all decent people, indeed they have quite a reputation for crime etc. Couple this with the fact that SH has over 30 convictions AND the proximity to Layhams Farm Road AND a trip to the funfair (when it's assumed he knew TS was dead) and it makes a great deal of sense.

On top of this if by this time CS was aware of the body (and perhaps if she wasn't) and it needed to be moved, what better way than to ask a traveller friend to help move the body in a car that is unlikely ever to be forensically tested?

Oh, and then he possibly felt he had to tell the world they went hunting in a funfair to find TS, (when there are plenty of more likely places a 12 year old girl could be....) as it was likely the car was on CCTV?

I'm actually convincing myself now......;-)

Are you familiar with the geography of the district and if so, how difficult would it have been for SH to get to the fun-fair via public transport or on foot before CS arrived home, taking into account that SH's time-line allows him a couple of hours after he claimed Tia left the house and CS arrived there

The child may have died many hours prior to noon on Friday of course, which would have given him plenty of time to suss out a friend from the fun-fair. Or, he could have phoned (public phone) the friend and asked him to bring a vehicle around to the house

He'd be cutting it a bit fine, wouldn't he, in approaching the fun-fair after six and with CS in tow. How did he imagine he'd be able to take the body from the loft with CS (and possibly others) in the house, once they'd raised the alert with NS and police were involved

they would have been caught on quite a few cameras but none of this seems to have been released to the public yet.

There's no reason for camera footage to be released to the public. I'm sure there is footage and it will all be part of the evidence to be presented in court if it goes to trial.

True. I just don't think it's fair to conclude CS was complicit (at that point) because one of them didn't stay to wait for TS.

We are of course assuming that they didn't ask a neighbour to look out for her, and call them if she showed up.

So why doesn't anyone remember seeing them, or at least Hazell, who gave quite a detailed account of his search? I don't think the funfair was ever visited. Maybe he'd thought about going there and then it just became part of the lies.

Well, some of the neighbours have already expressed how they feel about what's gone on. I'm sure if one of them had been asked to look out for Tia, they would have spoken up by now, and no one has - except for the person/persons who claimed they'd seen her leaving the house on Friday.

Have they finished ripping the house to pieces or did they stop after a body was found?
That house has been occupied by them for many years, I would imagine there are plenty of nooks and crannies.
PS has made comments on his life when married to CS, but why hasn't DA coe forward and talked about his marriage to CS? Is it because they were only married while SH was serving time for dealing? Was the marriage a charade? Did they ever divorce? Has he been involved at all?

I'm sure sometimes young children are used as 'drug mules' to deliver drugs to addicts as it's often less likely to create suspicion than someone who looks like a classic dealer- I saw it on TV once I'm sure. Maybe SH was still dealing and using Tia to deliver drugs and somehow her death is tied in to this- either she threatened to tell (maybe it was a secret to family members so she threatened to tell her mum, or maybe not- and that's why they covered for him *if* he's guilty and *if* they covered at all), or perhaps someone related to the drugs scene killed her *if* maybe SH went out and left Tia alone... Just a thought.

I had wondered this too. I did wonder if SH went to meet Tia at the Tram in Croydon on the Thursday to give her a parcel to take home and something Tia said made him persuade her to go back to the house.Given the background, it is possible that NS was into drug dealing.

If Tia was threatening to expose the family business in drug dealing then I can see all the family sticking together over her death.

Yes, but we should never assume that because we haven't heard or read something, it didn't happen. Not everyone talks to the media, and not everything gets reported.

Would most of us seek to expose our 'now' lives if we'd been associated with a crime like this? Can't see why anyone would

i was the one who mentioned where the funfair rides were kept, and this was because somebody said that the fair may have just moved on somewhere.

i doubt the funfair people had anything to do with it at all , it was just a point of reference at the time of the post i was replying to.

If I'd been married to anyone linked to this case, I'd be laying as low as possible- whether I believed them to be guilty or not. I wouldn't want to drag my name into things, or go on record as saying anything about them- if only to avoid backlash on Facebook etc. for ever having had anything to do with them or having the press hound me for quotes- not to mention what being publicly associated to anyone suspected of murder could do to your own personal life even if you have nothing to do with that person nowadays. It's unlikely an ex-partner would be close enough to say whether they could safely say they were innocent or guilty- and you wouldn't want to wade in and stick up for them if they were proved guilty in the end. Best off well out of it!

I can't really see 12-year-old Tia threatening to expose a family business of drug dealers. I'm sure Tia witnessed many inappropriate things in her life, and to her, they were 'normal', just like they'd have been normal to her mum and her gran. And if she was a family girl, she'd have covered up for them just like she'd be expected to.

#tiasharp Post mortem examination resumes this afternoon as pathologist tries to determine cause of Tia's death.

Would a traveller (of no fixed address) (some of which are rumoured to be particularly unsavoury characters) have been able to provide any assistance to SH. Perhaps he went to the funfair to ask a "mate" for help?

This does seem a good reason to visit the fair-he needed some transport that would not be able to be traced. It his highly likely that SH would know some of the local travellers .

Though why not give himself a genuine alibi and actually ask a few people if they had seen her.

Palmer said that once the postmortem examination was completed, Stuart Hazell, who has been charged with Tia's murder, had the right to request a second one by a pathologist of his choice.
-------------------------
Would Carlile be the one to choose another pathologist on Hazell's behalf? Most of us wouldn't know how to pick a pathologist, it's not like choosing toothpaste.
