Absolutely shocking I’ve followed this case from the start. The amount of victims is astonishing.
Ooh now I’m intrigued how he siphoned off charity money. Could he have also been involved with gifts to charity left in wills? Or any other thoughts?

Money from the collection given by the congregation at the funeral, I'd imagine. Usually, it will say on the order of service that the collection is for a particular charity, which the funeral director then passes on to the charity in question.

Nowhere near as cruel as leaving dead bodies unattended and rotting plus mixing up families loved ones ashes.
There is clearly no low that the accused would stoop to

Yes they did drop the charges.
I can’t remember if she was ever actually named though.

He has pled guilty to 35 charges of fraud by false representation and another of fraudulently running a business.

He denied 30 counts of preventing lawful and decent burials and one count of stealing from a charity.

Trial is set for 5th October 2026

With the seriousness of the case Im surprised he has been bailed.

There should be a lot more than 30 (counts of perverting......) IMO!
