UK- Two suitcases believed to contain human remains found, man seen acting suspiciously @ Clifton Suspension Bridge, Bristol, 11 July 2024

Crikey this one leaves no uncertainty! I'm glad he was caught because that is definitely serial killer material
Makes me wonder if the accused has any other victims, imo, speculation.

IIRC, when the perp was being chased around Bristol near where he abandoned the suitcases containing body parts, a member of the public ran into him. The perp shouted at them that his boss was a very bad man. It seems like the motive was monetary all along. He was being paid but that wasn't enough.

Hopefully the Colombian authorities are asking themselves that question.

Jurors have heard the harrowing screams of a man being stabbed to death during sex with a 🤬🤬🤬🤬 star accused of killing him and his lover in a plot to steal their money.

Colombian national Yostin Andres Mosquera, 35, is on trial over two deaths in Shepherd's Bush, west London - and is said to have left body parts in suitcases at the iconic Clifton Suspension Bridge in Bristol.

In the footage played at Mosquera's Old Bailey trial today, Mr Alfonso, 65, is heard attempting to fight him off but is unable to do so before losing consciousness.

''A suspected double killer who dumped two chopped-up bodies in suitcases on Clifton Suspension Bridge asked “you like it?” as he stabbed to death one of the victims, the Old Bailey heard.''

'On Thursday, jurors watched footage of the stabbing with harrowing audio of Mr Afonso’s screams of pain and last gasps of breath.'

''After slitting his throat with a knife and repeatedly stabbing him, Mosquera – still with a Mr Alfonso in a head lock – is heard asking: “You like it?”

As a Juror,
one may need a therapy after watching this horror :(

It might stay in memory,
returning in nightmares.

Gosh, when I heard about this case last year, I thought it was going to be horrific. It's even worse than I imagined.

I read on one website that the jurors didn't watch the tape and listened to it whilst it was being described by police officers. I'm not sure what would be worse to be honest.

The jury and LE must be beyond disgusted! imo.
''Mr Alfonso’s death was captured on four cameras that were up in his bedroom to record sex sessions with Mosquera, 35, who is then seen singing and dancing in the aftermath of the attack.

Mr Justice Bennathan had previously warned the jury “it is not an easy watch” and the added soundtrack that was played on Thursday potentially “heightens” any distress in seeing it.''

''Police searched the Scotts Road address on the label of the silver trunk before finding Mr Alfonso and Mr Longworth’s decapitated heads, as well as other body parts, at their flat in a chest freezer, the court heard.''

He doesn't seem very bright. The murder of one victim is caught on 4 camera's and the address of the victims is on one of the suitcases the body parts were in. I think he was probably planning to flee straight back to columbia as soon as he had dumped the bodies but luckily was intercepted before he could do so.

I cant think why he didn't just leave them in the flat and go back to Colombia? Glad he didn't of course, but can't fathom why he thought this was a better plan

Maybe he wanted to return to the house for whatever reason?

He could always say the men went to Bristol for this Parade (?...I don't remember exactly what event it was but they had tickets bought)
and never returned.

And the bodies were in Bristol.

Feel so sorry for both victims, very glad the guy was stupid enough to do what he did to get caught.

Bristol Pride day was on the 13th of July so maybe that ?

He had had ideas about selling the house, looking up its value and so on.

So yes, he knew they had planned to go to Bristol Pride and the plan was to make it look as though they had been murdered there.

His thinking was clearly very muddled as he left most of the identifiable body parts behind.

Maybe he was planning a second trip to Bristol with the rest of the remains?

If the subject matter wasn’t so serious this would be comedic.
How on EARTH did they expect to get away with these crimes ?
Beyond stupid.

I have been waiting for this trial because with the little information we had before I couldn’t wrap my head around what on earth happened here.

Apart from the senseless cruelty and callousness of the alleged killer, what really stands out to me is how extraordinarily dim this guy is. An absolute himbo through and through.

First, he planned to do this in the Uk while seemingly not speaking English too well (had to use google translate with the people that offered to help and the name of the van driver he contacted is Spanish). He then films the crime in multiple cameras. Attempts and fails to send money to his own account in Colombia. Apparently he wanted to sell the house (how he figured he’d be able to do that I don’t know). Disposes of evidence in the communal bins. Then hires a van to go to Brighton, but changes his plan and goes to Bristol ( part of me wonders if he got the two confused). I have to think he saw a picture like this
IMG_9405.webp

and thought it was just a bridge in the woods.

For those that are not familiar, even though there’s no residences directly next to the bridge, there’s plenty of houses close enough. Also, it’s a popular landmark . There’s staff there around the clock too because unfortunately people have jumped from there in the past. The whole length of the bridge between the pillars has a wire fence on that is over two meters tall, and even if he managed to throw anything from
there, chances are it’d land on mud and not flowing waters. But anyway, the part where he tried to throw the suitcases, they would had landed in the woods a few meters below. Oh, and the suitcases had the victims name and address on them!

It’s truly astonishing

A few more details in this article

https://www.itv.com/news/westcountr...uring-sex-and-dismembered-his-body-court-told

Apparently he had visited in one previous occasion and Albert and Paul had visited him in Colombia once before too. Then on the 9th of June he arrived to London for a visit and had been searching for the price of their house before the trip, meaning he had likely been planning to kill them long before it happened. Just absolutely heartless.

I have been eagerly awaiting more court updates but it’s been very quiet since the first day, I wonder why!

It said he had searched an industrial blender so maybe the body parts he kept in the freezer were going in that….the identifiable parts.
