They need to exhume her and get her DNA processed. Once her DNA is in the GEDmatch and ftDNA databases they’ll be able to find her family. It wouldn’t surprise me if it was a teen couple. To dispose of her so quickly after birth, the Mom must have had help.

I wonder since she was found floating in the lake, if the mother gave birth in the lake that day, or maybe the day before. The mother could have stayed mostly submerged until her body passed the placenta. Then the mother could have walked out, perhaps unnoticed depending on the time of day.

If they can't get DNA, there's really no way to get an identification, unless somebody confesses.
