SO I take it you watched the full video's.....
I don't see how anyone can come to any other conclusion but that Ron is the so called "mastermind", but they are going to try and say it was to "find clues about Haleigh".... To bad he done burned that bridge with the whole "Dope boys don't do that, and the admission he made that he was doing this back when Haleigh went missing.

I'm getting a mental picture of the night Haleigh disappeared. Misty forced to babysit and saying I'll fix it so this kid never gets in my way again. I'll show him!

I never thought that it could have been a deliberate act; I always thought it was some kind of accident. But deliberate acts happen all the time and a disturbed young person, resentful, pathological, could...well look at what happened to (was it?) Elizabeth. Just a flat out murder.

This kinda belongs in the theories thread but it springs from the video so here it be.

edit: I'm back. Still thinking-Haleigh slept with them, went where they went, had to get up sooo early, had typical behavior issues, got all her daddy's attention. Not a good situation for a narcissist to be in charge of. I mean Misty.

Just speculating from what little I have seen but no one talks about Jr. I think he may be a forgotten child. I think he is quieter and less demanding. He slept all day that day to hear Misty tell it. Plus Misty had brothers, she could deal with that but she never had to compete with another female (I think her mother totally submits to her and offers no resistance)

I'm sorry, I am dragging us OT. But my opinions do all come from watching the videos.:innocent:

It just keeps getting worse....

I've suspected all along Misty was jealous and resentful of Haleigh. "That little girl" was nothing more than a pain in the butt as far as she was concerned. She cramped her style and interfered with her me me me and Ronald a.k.a. "Baby" time.

All the talk about Misty fixing up Haleigh like a beauty queen before school each morning was just a pathetic front. :furious:

I wonder what those kids were subjected to under her care when she was alone with them. I'm not thinking Disney movies. I'm thinking Casey.

Oh I hear ya. No telling what those poor babies had to put up with.

Misty is Ronald's distracting pretty,young "front man". Keep em comin back for more when it's the pretty girl showing cleavage up front. He may be behind her, but he is the dealer, and she is the front. I am sure of this.

The more this case unravels the more I think that Haleigh got a hold of something and overdosed and died and they covered it up, or Misty was out partying and so wasted she does not even know what happened to Haleigh. She either od'ed or she was abducted or traded for drugs, perhaps just a swap that went wrong, who knows when dealing with these sorts of people...???

Ronald liked having Misty there. She was an agreeable drug and sex buddy, plus he needed someone to watch his kids. Little ones can be quite a handful, especially to a whiny, self-centered teen with zero patience. Ronald allowed Misty to dose the kids on occasion, he figured just a little bit wouldn't hurt. Those types of drugs can restrict breathing, and that particular time it was too much for little Haleigh with her asthma. Ronald and Misty are both guilty as sin, and are covering for each other. JMO

As for Misty wearing the little tanks tops in January, no doubt that was Ronald's idea. In the past Misty was always wearing long sleeves and heavy jackets, even in the summer heat. Ronald wanted her dolled up as a lure. Wouldn't be shocking to find out he also had her turning tricks. JMO

Misty is a spitfire and may run off and do her own thing at times, but bottom line she's always willing to please Ronald. She's at his beck and call, always seeking his approval. It feeds his ego. He put her up to selling the drugs, but she's a thrill seeker and enjoyed every minute of it. JMO

Misty does seems very comfortable dealing drugs.It makes me wonder if she was ever used by her parents to steal pocketbooks or pick up drugs for them when she was a minor.Lately I have seen on the news were parents will use a child to steal a purse for them makes me wonder.

Did you note - Misty is hanging onto her purse when LEOs show up - thought it was suppose to have been left in K's car ....hmmmmm. LE got her cell phone then, bet they used the information from that phone.

She left items she had in her purse in the other vehicle. She emptied her purse in the other car, as to make room for the pills, from the undercover cop. The items she's been asking for, such as her camera, cell phone & wallet, were not in her purse at the time of the bust.
