First thought that went through my upon reading the title. Actually, what I thought was maybe it's Stacey and they can prove Drew did it and then he CAN have the new trial that he seems to think he should have, only it won't be the trial he wanted........

It was found about 10 minutes from Drew and Stacy's house. I hope they've found her.

In Stacy's thread, someone also mentioned Rachel Mellon-Skemp, missing from Bolingbrook since 1996. Poor girl was only 13-years-old. Her profile: The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)

Also a man named Thomas M. has been missing from Bolingbrook, also since 1996. However, his car was found near a lake, and he is missing all teeth, so depending on what has been found, maybe he can be quickly ruled-out. His profile:

I really hope that this is Stacy, but at least a family will hopefully have some closure.
IMO.

Skeletal remains found near Hidden Lakes preserve in Bolingbrook have been identified as a Minnesota man who was reported missing in July 2024, according to the Will County Coroner's Office.

The remains were found on Dec. 14 by a citizen who was searching the wooded area for deer antlers, the coroner's office said. The skeletal remains have now been identified as David McCord, 36, of Minneapolis, Minnesota.

A human skull found in the vicinity in October 2024 is undergoing additional testing to determine whether it is related to this case, the coroner's office said.

So it sounds like they don't know yet if this skull is McCord, since the identified remains are a different find. Though it seems likely - I assume the identified remains don't include a skull or the connection would be pretty easy to rule out.
