IMO he was obsessed. Obsessed people go on and on and on and on and on...I just thought of something while reading this post. Why did he inscribe so many shell casings? Was he planning to shoot more than one person and then changed his mind?

does not mean that in his mind, he does not think he is saving the worldBut it's really not so black and white. The words on those casing don't seem to go along with some huge political views. More like an immature, attention seeking moron living in an internet gamer fantasy.
The thing is I'm not so sure he even knew what he was obsessed about. Nothing on the casings really made much sense.IMO he was obsessed. Obsessed people go on and on and on and on and on...
snippedInterestingly, with the casings... I believe LE mentioned the spent casing was still in the rifle. If he wanted to leave a message, why wouldn't he have left the casing on the rooftop?
Funnily enough had a similar discussion, based in the UK we don’t have the death penalty, where people in the group decided 100% in the UK would turn them in, but same question for US where he would have the death penalty there was a lot of hesitancy on whether they would go through with it.Dad turned in his son knowing he'll get the death penalty. Cold as ice, damn.
Thank you for posting that.
The father recognized him from surveillance images released by authorities. This is what prompted the father to confront his son. To say Tyler turned himself in seems a bit dishonest to me. I would partially agree if Tyler called the police, but it doesn't sound like that. It sounds like he only surrendered. That said, I don't know what action "later changed his mind" means.
Who is Tyler Robinson, the suspect in custody for shooting Charlie Kirk?
Do you have a link stating the Hey fascist catch! is from a game or a show? The NYTimes calls that engraving "politically straightforward."Those are well known in the game world and the netflix show.
Entitled. This is a good point, I think. Robinson had a presidential scholarship to study at Utah State, which sounds like quite an achievement to me, but then drops out/gets kicked out after half a year. He's spent the last three years training to be an electrician. I rather doubt that five years ago he imagined that he'd end up working as a sparky. We may well find out that the catalyst for Robinson disappearing down whatever rabbit hole he's diasappeared down is an inability to cope with the fact that his life didn't pan out as planned and blaming others for what he perceives as his misfortune.Replying to nuttmegg, kuromiiilove, and jw192 ( all their previous excellent posts). ~
Agreeing with all of you......
There is no coherent idealogy to Robinson.
He's just hoping to impress his pals on Discord the next day.
Whether it was Crooks (attempted assassination), Mangione (assassination) , or Robinson now. .....
They are well-educated, intelligent, middle-class or upper-middle class young men. They all had parents who taught them morals.
However, ....these young men are EXTREMELY entitled.
Whatever they are thinking at the moment......... is just AN EXCUSE TO KILL.
They just want to show-off that they CAN kill. And do it in a spectacular way.
It is sickening.

I can't read that article as it's behind a pay wall, however here is a MSM article which mentions the Hey fascist catch casing which also contained the sequence of arrows.Do you have a link stating the Hey fascist catch! is from a game or a show? Money Heist. What show?
I am not basing any of my thoughts off the shell casings.I think, respectfully, you might be missing the point some of the other posters are making. Even if we agree the shooting was politically motivated and not, say, for notoriety like with Trump's would-be shooter, there’s still a lot we don’t know. We don’t fully understand which specific aspects of Charlie Kirk’s ideology or politics the shooter disagreed with, or what particular elements might have motivated the shooting. It’s important to acknowledge what we don't know, before jumping to conclusions about the shooter’s exact motivations or personal beliefs.
MOO
It could be something other than the death penalty. IMO it was only a matter of time before a whole platoon of armed police officers tracked down TR. Maybe his dad figured it would be best to turn him in vs a suicide by cop situation? Police tread pretty lightly when a perp has already killed somebody.Funnily enough had a similar discussion, based in the UK we don’t have the death penalty, where people in the group decided 100% in the UK would turn them in, but same question for US where he would have the death penalty there was a lot of hesitancy on whether they would go through with it.
Obvious caveat is that it’s hard to even to being to imagine what you would actually do, it’s a decision the majority none of us will ever have to make.
My husband and I were just talking about this...you would have to do the right thing....Imagine, this child is capable of murdering anyone, including the parents. Would you want that on your conscience that your child is out there killing people and potentially you? Kuddos to the dad on making the correct choice, as hard as that was.Very hard choice. Going old school where the parent is holding his child accountable for his act instead of denying and making excuses (thinking of Gabby Petito's killer's parents who aided their son after her murder) - heartbreaking for that father.
He maybe felt he had a duty to LE as many are his colleagues, friends and maybe other family of his has history of LE.
Not sure I could or would it but I would hope I would do the right thing. The father did the right thing. MOO
Bella ciao is also a Helldivers 2 reference... As well as all the other pop culture places it's featured inI'm talking about the Bella Ciao.

What's decent in one household is anathema in another. And that doesn't necessarily follow that both homes are either bad or good. I think we'll get a better picture from the more accurate MSM who will investigate the shooter and his family's core beliefs.Politicians have been assassinated, in my lifetime, since JFK. I do believe a political assassination caused ww1. I don't think it's so complicated. Hopefully kids these days are raised with a core of decency. And that refers to would be killers and those who purposefully provoke.
