JennieM, thanks so much for this article.

In addition to the shirt, which is unique, anybody noticing other physical attributes?

POI seems on the thin side. (w/ long thin face.)
He is stooped w/ rounded shoulders. (A lot of time at the computer screen? Musician?)
Dark shades he is wearing are also unique.
Hair under the hat is brown, or blond? (Short or shaved off? Hard to tell because pic is grainy)

Anybody else notice distinguishing features?

If he isn't identified and caught in the next 12 hours, I sure hope LE releases a moving image of his "walk". That should go an even longer way to helping someone recognizing him.

Furthermore: What is going on with his mouth? An overbite ? I'll let others describe what they see..........

Moo/pure speculation.
The sunglasses look like Oakleys or a knock off, wrap around style. That'd help conceal his face. The shirt looks like either he was trying to fit in with the theme or maybe that's just his thing.

I would think his family or friends could still recognize him. His jeans might be a dead giveaway.

Looks like he has something in each front pocket of his jeans and in the one photo his hands are fisted. I saw one comment that said it's similar to how a servicemember would stand with hands down and closed with the thumb over the others.

I wondered if he was trying to avoid touching the handrail so he kept his hands in a fist, so he didn't instinctually grab the railing.

It’s my understanding that the shirt features an American flag, an eagle, and text that says “Land of the Free” above the image and “Home of the Brave” below the image. Also my understanding the shirt may be associated with a disabled veterans foundation as indicated by some online listings for the shirt.
Saw all the posts about this, things are moving fast I can't keep up! :) Thank you for that.

I hope it's not an ex-vet and wonder if shirt is a red herring. Seems to be a statement to make regardless. MOO

DBM, double post, device froze
If the "cheering guy" was an accomplice, it would surely be exceptionally stupid to draw attention to himself by cheering.

Now that they have the murder weapon and his image its only matter of time before they get him. Also, since they have his print on the weapon, they can do Genetic genealogy to determine who it is. Hope Justice comes soon.

Since the POI in the images appears to be far too young to be a vet, disabled or not, my guess would be the shirt was either purchased intentionally to blend in (and any current online seller would know exactly who in Utah or surrounding states they shipped it to) or the shirt belonged to an older relative who may in fact be a disabled vet, and received the shirt for their support. Both angles I'm certain LE is or already has looked at very closely.
I imagine there may be Military Surplus Stores around too that may sell it second hand? Not sure if that kind of item/clothing would be sold there.

Maybe POI has a friend/relative that's a vet?

Maybe so but some people can get over excited, he was looking exactly where the assassin was

Honestly he just looked wasted to me. It's very possible he had no clue what had happened.

Founder of group that used to direct Kirk’s security says it typically anticipated close-range threats

BY JACK BROOK

Gregory Shaffer, founder of Shaffer Security Group, oversaw Kirk’s personal security detail from 2015 to 2022.

Shaffer said that during that period there were usually around five people in Kirk’s security detail: one beside him on stage, and others covering the front and back. They typically anticipated a close-range threats like someone attempting to climb on stage or throw something at Kirk.

It was not immediately clear if the details reflected the security situation at the event where Kirk was killed as Shaffer Security Group no longer serves Turning Point USA.

“You don’t expect a threat to come from 200 yards away on a college campus,” Shaffer said, adding that 3,000 people was a relatively small event for Kirk.

“We didn’t have enough manpower to put people on the rooftops, we didn’t have the funding to pay for a pair of binoculars that cost $3,000,” Shaffer said about his time working with Kirk. He added that campuses were expected to be a low-risk venue.

Yeah, I am honestly shocked that we have outdoor rallies as such anymore. I have seen others talking about getting rid of them entirely.

It might also be that the shirt came from a thrift store or garage/yard sale.

I mentioned in the first thread, my strange first thought when the shooting happened was maybe it was that bizarre Zizians group/cult set this up! No idea why I thought that, just did. This guy seems eerily similar type possibly?

But Zizian leader and I think most(?) of them are in jail unless they have an online underground thing still going...

This may be more a copycat of Luigi Mangione. All thinking out loud and MOO

I thought cell phone in his right side pocket? Looks long/rectangle but my eyes are bad these days lol

He is definitely not too young to be a Veteran. Even a 22-year-old for example could have served a 4-year enlistment and now be considered a Veteran.

Sometimes servicemembers are injured during training and they med board out of the military. It's possible to even be 19 or 20 and be considered a Veteran.

When I saw that photo earlier today, the first thing I said to my husband was oh wow I hope he isn't a servicemember. It was the look and that was just my first thought.

IMO

They must have assembly halls or gyms that would work?

The pictures of him are very clear so I expect an arrest soon.
Yes, I think so too. I hope anyone who knows him and recognizes him gives in a tip to the FBI. From the latest articles, it seems he jumped off the roof and ran into the wilderness. That is what I've been wondering, how he seemingly left without witnesses seeing him go! I notice in the photo of him climbing the stairs, that there is a person at the top. Hoping that person remembers him also.
