Yes one of the people at the presser was speaking to someone after. the mic picked it up. He said they have a name but they aren’t ready to release it.LE has not identified the killer yet. We only know what the POI is wearing and looks like. We don’t have names yet either
Incredible that he got set up, did what he went there to do, then packed up, ran across the building, climbed/jumped down, ran then fast-walked to the street and crossed, all in a short amount of time, with cars and pedestrians there.
yes they know, they need help finding him. I wondered why the reward was so high now we know. Someone has to come forward.LE has not identified the killer yet. We only know what the POI is wearing and looks like. We don’t have names yet either
well at least we have a name, thats goodYes one of the people at the presser was speaking to someone after. the mic picked it up. He said they have a name but they aren’t ready to release it.
The shooter is certainly physically fit and agile. The distance from the roof to the ground looks like it's at least 10 feet, perhaps 12 feet. He hits the ground and is then running. He probably retained the rifle to fight anyone who tried to stop him.
That is how they matched Brian Kohberger DNA to the murder weapon.Genetic genealogy for fingerprints?
When you see something like this is generally because they are lost. The more they put out, the less they know. This is reminding me of Luigi Mangione. It took them 5 days to find him, and it came as a result of decent video of his face. They have better quality footage here, so hopefully it happens soon. One tip and this is over, just like that one.so they don't even have his identity.....or do they and are not disclosing in order to not alert the guy?
That was a big jump.Press conference
Currently showing a video of the suspect jumping off the building and crossing the street into the wooded area. The Utah DPS commissioner says the palm print and footprint recovered came from where the suspect lowered himself from the roof of the building.
They are working on recovering DNA.
I suspect most of those tips are not from eye witnesses. They are from people all over the country and world saying that the released pictures look like their neighbor, co-worker, etc. In other recent assassination attempts (of others), there were several witnesses who had their own videos and eyewitness statements as soon as the event occurred. That's just very different from what we are currently seeing. There are 7000 tips. I am sure a lot of people want to talk. It could take weeks, months to really follow up on 7000 tips. And yet, they have a name. They just need help knowing where he is hiding, hence the reward of $100,000.
They may have a lot more, even his identity, but have no clue where he is. They are not going to disclose that because the killer is listening no doubt. When you see something like this is generally because they are lost. The more they put out, the less they know. better for ruling people outEven with the enhanced photos, this looks like the most generic every-dude on in every city. No good clear look at the face, no unique characteristics at all.
Is that model of weapon easy to break down?Really wondering what he did with the gun while he was escaping. Obviously took it off the roof with him since it was found in the woods. Did he just stuff it down his pants? No clue how he would be running like that and how it wouldn’t have just fallen out. But that backpack definitely looks too small for that gun

He was lucky nobody saw him jumping off the roof. It looks like not one person was in the parking lot.Incredible that he got set up, did what he went there to do, then packed up, ran across the building, climbed/jumped down, ran then fast-walked to the street and crossed, all in a short amount of time, with cars and pedestrians there.
He planned it well.
IMO.
