Are you thinking this means that the FBI is trying to lure or coax someone who's hiding him into giving up his current whereabouts?...

Because if they know his name, he shouldn't be that tough to be found unless he's being sheltered someplace unexpected the FBI can't trace a name and face down to, IMO.
I am glad that the FBI is releasing info, photos, etc. and not sitting on it. Not withholding info from the public.
I certainly understand why the public is not privy to most info, but photos of this person will help apprehend them, as they are allegedly a danger to the public. jmo :)

Every other person in the country has converse shoes and stuff with the adidas logo. I'm not super confident they are close at all but I guess we'll see how it will all unfold.

He looks in his 30s to me. And maybe of Hispanic ethnicity. It could also be Native American or Middle Eastern. There’s something about his features, particularly his nose, that makes him appear not entirely White/Caucasian. MOO JMO

In one of the pictures I think he looks possibly Asian. Obviously I’m unsure, but slim build, black hair and just something I can’t really define about the lower part of the face.

Just speculating.

ETA: I’m still trying to catch up on this thread, so I just saw your post, @whitelilac, about him possibly being of Asian heritage. Yes, for me that possibility looks strongest in that picture where he’s gazing across a white staircase.

He acquired intimate knowledge of the area and event, is an experienced shooter, and has above average fitness/athletic ability. Those things together tell me the perp is likely not going to be some basement dweller or random loser. This feels like possibly someone with military/law enforcement training

If it’s not a takedown rifle, how did he bring it in? He’s not carrying a gun bag in the stairwell photos and all of his limbs bend and aren’t bulky enough to conceal a long gun. It’s risky to leave one up there overnight beforehand.

Edit: Saw the video of him walking. Okay, he may have stashed it in his pantleg.

He parkoured out of there pretty quickly. No surprise, I thought he’d be young and agile.

Surprised he didn’t wear gloves, at least weightlifting or bike gloves to cover his palm, or latex gloves that aren’t as easily seen on camera. Maybe got the shirt at a thrift store.

It is a really horrific disturbing video.
Yes it is. I hadn't seen this far distance video, the ones I saw were up close and personal, and surreal. It may be that Tricia is planning to post those at a later date.

I don't see anything new. Can you elaborate?
IMO.
Sorry busy day and watched all the news on the tragedies that happened today with my son.
I jumped in to add but I'm sure it has already been covered here. I just didn't catch it.
This article shows him walking to the college and then running from it. I didn't see much chatter so I thought I would add. Sorry if this was covered, again watching/ flipping the news all evening.

it looks like the roof of that building is covered in pebbles. I doubt anyone is ever up there raking, but there really doesn’t appear to be any disturbances/prints beyond those caused by him yesterday. What I am saying is this means he probably did not physically practice before he did it, which is wild - especially considering his spider man escape off the roof!
Loose; or together?

I've seen and walked on a few pool aprons made of pebbles in my time; so maybe the rocks are anchored together (suspended in clear fixative, caulk, or cement, maybe) and don't need to be raked, and/or can't be disturbed?...I mean, it's possible, right?

<modsnip: Quoted post was removed>

I'm thinking he is a quiet type, fwiw. He seems self-disciplined. Just the impression I get.

Could he have hid the rifle in his jeans and that is why he’s “limping”?

That is just as possible as well. If that killer did talk, it would be to complain.

And good observation on him being left handed. I agree based on which hand he is holding on with.

I wonder if they are concerned that people will harm him if a name is released? They really want to control what they can I would think. This is so high profile that having a name out there could put more people at risk. I think they will have him tomorrow. IMO
This happened after Lincoln was assassinated and a man who had just returned from fighting the war was arrested because he look liked Booth.

Local History: Pottsville soldier mistaken for Booth

Wild (imo) to make that drop and then run in Converse. The whole point of wearing them to lift is that they don't have any cushioning. Converse for lifting

I'm thinking they are lightweight so perhaps easier in that sense - easier to move quickly in his agile moves?

Where was the weapon as he jumped off the building? How was it conveyed into the wooded area?
If he left it in the woods, why not just leave on rooftop?

Depends if he tried to stash it in the woods to hide it vs just drop it.
