John Miller really nailed it. Last night he was talking about how the offender would leak both before and after the killing, with an emphasis on the after.

It seems that Robinson talked about Charlie Kirk's visit at dinner, as well as his distain for him. After the fact he totally gave himself away to his friend on Discord, giving details only the killer would know in what amounted to a confession.

Oh this is going to get wild online (like the Luigi case) - nerdy skaterboy type… Dark times.

I liked what the main guy said about social media, and this being a watershed moment. We shall see where the chips will fall but I personally don’t see things getting better any time soon.

One of the saddest parts of this to me is that Charlie would have engaged and talked with him, they could have debated their differences and beliefs. All he had to do was have a discussion vs an assassination. Now he's destroyed more than his and Charlie's life.

Ok so part of me is extremely glad that the casings didn't have extreme pro trans/race statements on. There's enough hate in this world already without any more.
But like what on earth?! This reminds me of the school shooter recently (I forget the name, the obviously very mentally ill one - I'll come back and edit) who wrote a whole load of shock horror try hard cringey bull poo on the weapons and mags and put it on the internet. To me the only statement that gives a clear clue of a "reasoning" is the "Bella ciao" one. The Italian resistance song which is more commonly sung for injustice and oppression. Which ties into the "fascist" words on the other casing.

I don't think this kid was like a balls deep radicalist tbh. Society has become so desensitised to violence and death and it's at the point where even the most minor grievance with someone can be a catalyst for violence. Throw in the whole influencer/wannabe famous internet gobbledygook into the mix and we have acts like this imo. I was expecting someone with a clear precise vendetta or a super strong political stance or something y'know? This kid has seemingly picked up on a buzzword of "meh he's a fascist" and has committed murder.

Just my opinion which may change when more info is released

Violence never solves anything.

If he thought he was saving the country by murdering someone he was wrong.

If he thought he would be seen as a hero he isn’t.

I originally wondered if this killing was symbolic of assassinating the POTUS but now I don’t think so. It was Charlie he wanted and he got him.

Two young children are now going to grow up without a father. The son will not remember his Dad. The daughter may have flickers of memory of her father but not likely. A wife is now a widow, a single mother.

Lives changed FOREVER because someone decided they didn’t like the words of another person. Murder was his answer.

So many lives, directly and indirectly, ruined by someone who decided violence would solve his problem.

So incredibly sad for all.

Its frightening that he actually could have gotten away with this with a little more planning. The next one might just do it. Any random angry 20 year old can do what he did and with a little money and planning would be out of the country before anybody knew.

How will his defence be funded? Will his obviously very decent family be expected to beggar themselves to pay for it?

Would he be treated as financially independent of his parents as he is an adult?
I imagine a guilty plea so no trial.

Yeah, either way-- I don't think that the parents would pay for an attorney. Especially since they helped turn him in.

Plus, it would be a waste of money, especially with all of the evidence they have. It would be different, if they believed he truly didn't do it.

He had every opportunity, access to higher education. He could have CHOSEN to "bee the change" by entering the conversation, developing a platform and finding an audience, moving into ADULTHOOD, his own home, car, career. He could have entered politics ...

That will have to be proven in court. Anyway there are options to sort thru, mental health, etc.

I will stand by you in court, and I will visit you in prison, and I will welcome you back home after serving time, but I won't help you get away with breaking the law. Luckily we've never encountered that situation and I never expect to.

To be put to the test has to be truly awful, especially with death penalty on the table.

Pointing out the painful irony of claiming someone else spreads hate and then the shooter himself does the most hateful thing of committing murder (and destroying many lives, including his own, and causing social distress).
