In this article it mentions the old dude that was arrested at the scene and later released - I believe he was mentioned in the previous post - I find it bizarre that the old dude was screaming shoot me as he was hauled off... Convenient distraction or just an attention seeker?

From hat, What's inside the triangle? Can anyone enhance? That doesn't look like the Aidas triangle here. But I mean it probably is, the quality on these is not good. Looking at it from a distance, I was sure that was what it was, too, so I'm still assuming Adidas at this point. But I wish I could get it sharper on a blow up just to be sure.

The older man was a known person to LE as someone who acts out. I doubt a person like that would be recruited by anyone to be an accomplice. He doesn't come off as someone reliably stable, ykwim?

I think he deliberately shot him in the neck and planned to all along, with a head or chest shot it is over quickly, whereas with a neck shot the person bleeds out.

A shot to the carotid artery and/or vein kills practically instantly, much faster than many chest and head wounds.

This has probably been mentioned before but police should probably tell the public to look for someone who matches the look of the suspect that may have a recent injury to his foot, ankle or leg. That fall most likely caused an injury even if he was moving pretty well after because of adrenaline.

There are pics of the rifle found in the wooded area and it does not have a collapsable stock. Also, a collapsable stock rifle would still be about 2' long, too long for the backpack shown in pics.

Agreed. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to attach a link from tiktok (I know I know, I follow cute pugs and medical docs ) but there's a spinal doctor and a forensic pathologist I follow who have done each a very interesting and educational video on what actually occured as a result of the impact. I think a lot of us after seeing the footage of the shooting knew the second we seen the posturing, that it was a fatal shot. If it had have happened in an operating room with scrubbed in specialist surgeons, they would have very unlikely been able to save the life.
Where the bullet hit - wether intentionally aimed for or not - is an instant kill zone with a bullet of that calibre.
I hope people can take peace in that he won't have felt a thing

I disagree. He debated in Oxford and Cambridge earlier this year which got good news coverage. He founded a second chapter of the Turning Point organization in Cambridge. He spoke in Japan and South Korea a week or so ago.

I'm going to guess this photo was taken after they unwrapped it. Seems this might be an evidence box they use to put recovered weapons in. I'd say they took photos of this gun as it was found, then removed it from the towel and put it in this box and took another photo to show the evidence recovery process and then closed the box around it and removed it from the area.
