GUILTY UT - Destiny Norton, 5, Salt Lake City, 16 July 2006

Some reports have said he was the sole occupant of the house. On a blog I read (I don't know if any of this is fact) that Cadie was thinking about leaving Craig. Maybe they were married but separated. Cadie could have been there visiting Craig or getting some things out of the house. This would explain why she didn't notice little Destiny in the house and also why she was in the area and helping with the search.

I'm with the people that think not letting someone search your residence during a missing-child investigation would bring up a BIG red flag. Especially when the house is right next door to the missing child's home. BIG red flag.
I guess you have to be familiar with the area to understand.

That is quite possible. But that would also mean she left her own child with him while she went and searched. Anyone know how old Lilly is? Where was she when Cadie was searching? She had said she dropped her off. With the sicko? I wonder if she saw anything, or if she is even old enough to say?

I saw on Cadie's myspace page, their daughters first birthday was on July 21st and there are pictures of Craig attending her birthday party and sitting with his wife holding his baby. I can't imagine how he could go to the party and go on about his life knowing what he had done.

Someone that seemed to know Cadie posted on the zoomshare blog that she hadn't been living with him for 2 months. Who knows. Just some info.

Sounds like the area they live in has some "seedy" occupants. If the police are enemies to these people, the police are probably used to hostility and "Screw the Police" attitude. Thats my take on it anyway.

Oh, "not being familiar with the area" is in reference to the socio-economic environment? My bad. Still. Big red flag for me! lol

Newkid- what is her name on My Space? I can't find her when I search for "Cadie Gregerson"- is that not her last name?

That is so SICK that the whole time poor Destiny was sitting in his basement while he ate cake and ice cream! And if Lilly is only 1, she couldn't have known what her psycho father was doing while her mommy was out searching. :furious:

Destiny Norton Found Dead, Suspect in Jail

Gregerson is 20 years old, seen in a mug shot two years ago when he was booked into jail on assault and domestic violence charges.

His house on Elwood Place is just behind the Norton's apartment.

Family and friends don't recognize him.

Peter Brooks, Destiny's Uncle: "I have no idea who he is. I never got to know any of the neighbors."

Police say Gregerson lived in the house alone, though we know he is married with a small child.

Court documents reveal in February Gregerson filed for a protective order against his wife, Catherine Gregerson. Eyewitness News spoke with her early on in the search for Destiny last Tuesday.

Cadie Gregerson/ Neighbor/ July 17: "I came over and I talked straight to the mother. Then I went and took my daughter inside and then went straight out to go look." Cadie Gregerson: "I mean, I have a child too. How would I feel? It's the same way. What if my child went missing? I'd be completely devastated."

*****

Pictures of Gregerson with his own child and family are posted online. He's listed himself on the website myspace.com. On it he says, "I don't want kids." We couldn't find Gregerson listed on the state sex offender registry. But once again, he was arrested for assault and domestic violence charges a couple years ago, and now is charged with Destiny Norton's murder.

Did you listen to the 45 minute interview with Gregerson's wife that was linked to the article you posted? I can't (webtv) so if you did or do listen could you please share?

That's about it, there are more than a few people in that area who distrust anyone with any type of authority. It's an area that you might drive through as it's getting dark and reach over to make sure your doors are locked. Then again, maybe I have it wrong and it was a huge red flag to the police, but they still have to follow the law.

She's "Cadie Bug" on myspace

She has a yahoo profile with pictures of Craig too, nothing too recent though.

No, "not being familiar with the area" is exactly that, not being familiar with the area.

Maybe I'm reading it wrong, I'm not terribly familiar with myspace.

I found it, thanks. Had to have all the do hickeys and things in place. She has even signed on today. I sure hope that was BEFORE she realized her husband is a murderer! Not only that, her display picture is of him and her and the adorable baby! OMG! She needs to get that picture off of there!

While I was viewing the birthday photos, I was kicked out and received and error message that her blog is now blocked unless her are on her "preferred list". Someone must be editing her page for her.

Has anyone listened to her interview yet?

The wife does not believe he did it. She says she won't believe it until he tells her to her face that he's guilty.
