I think she's a poor mixed up girl desperate to have a happy family, even if she has to pretend.

Gregerson once threw the couple's 1-year-old daughter across a bed when the infant kicked some food off his lap, said an attorney for Gregerson's wife."

And she doesn't think he is capable of this??? She is definately sick and needs help!

Now I'm even more confused. On the audio interview, she's stating that the house was thoroughly searched.

And she's stating that Craig was with the FBI the whole day yesterday.

That article shows a picture of the front of his house. It doesnt look like an abandoned house. I wonder what the tip was that LE used to get that search warrant.

"Then last night, police received two tips. One was information leading them to Gregerson."

Also, the wife did not live there and had no knowledge of the crime. He has been abusive to her and their daughter.

Listening now. She's stating that the house had been searched previously. Poor lady, she believes in her husband and that he was framed. I don't know what it would take for her to see reality.

She probably wants to believe that he didn't do it so badly that it's hard to see anything else. I am curious to who the tip was from and why the would suspect him and all that info. I hope she just walks away from him for the sake of her daughter.

Did you listen to the 45 minute interview with Gregerson's wife that was linked to the article you posted? I can't (webtv) so if you did or do listen could you please share?

She says that she can't believe he did it. She said he doesn't bother with any kids, not nieces or nephews, just his own daughter. She said he had very few friends while growing up because he was judged unfairly. She said he looks nerdy. She said he's in school and was working on memorizing medical terms, but did not want to state where he went to school. She said he's quiet and keeps to himself. She says he has never hurt a child, he has only hurt her. She also said that it's her fault he hit her.

She said the house was searched top to bottom by the police before all this happened (I think she's saying the search was last Tuesday) and that's what makes her think he is being set up. She said that "they" (when asked who she said, "police, FBI, I don't know") broke into his house and searched it and told her they were afraid something had happened to her husband and that's why they broke in. She said that he spent all day yesterday being questioned by the FBI and that he was scheduled to take a polygraph test yesterday.

She says they met online and he treated her better than any other guys have treated her.

She said the last time she saw Craig was yesterday morning. He spent the night Destiny went missing at Catherine's apartment because she asked him to stay with her. He also spent Monday night at Catherine's apartment.

The above is a summary of what was stated on the audio interview by Catherine Gregerson, none of it is my opinion. I tried to use as many of her own words as I could remember. These are the things that stood out to me throughout the interview, but I may have missed something.

Thanks for posting that, Newkid. There are so many things wrong w/ her interview its crazy.

She said he never hurt her child- according to court papers, he threw her across a bed. She said he never admitted he did it, according to police he DID say he did it. She has never known him to be violent? That is a flat out lie. She doesn't appreciate people prejudging him? The guy had a BODY in his BASEMENT, how are we not to judge? He "steers clear of kids" and only likes his own child, ok that is a red flag. Did he not trust himself around kids for fear he may hurt them? She said he had been sick the last couple of days- Gee...could that be because he had a BODY in his BASEMENT??

Also, she said he was scheduled to go for a polygraph and she told him to call or come over when he got back- WHY did he have to go for a polygraph if no one suspected him? Were they just giving them to people in the neighborhood? I doubt it! I think they had a suspicion, asked him to come in, and during that time he told them what he did which provided them with the probable cause to search the house. The probable cause warrant says exactly what he did to her, so obviously he told them BEFORE they searched the house. She is living in DENIAL!

They asked the wife about that in the audio interview, her response was that it smelled like it always did. Now that may have not been a good smell. In her myspace blog she refers to her house being a disaster and her husband refusing to help clean.

I know, I can't believe that she thinks her husband was set up. I don't agree with any of her statements. I was trying to keep my opinion out of it and just state what she had said for those who couldn't access the audio report.
