How does someone assign a homeless S/O a zip code? :waitasec:

That's odd. I know alot of homeless people around there do tend to stick to certain area's. Maybe that zip is his known area and they only included it so that is the first place LE will look for him if needed.

I remember walking under the viaducts for the Interstate out in that area and finding discarded clothing and such from homeless people. Maybe LE should check those out also. If abducted, she could have been taken there, or she could even have gone there for cover from the wind if she took off on her own. Just a thought.

Disturbing, I was under the impression you needed an address as part of your probation or release, but honestly these cases skeeve me out so badly I dont know that much except IMO, there is no way to rehabilitate a sex offender.

If sex offenders are allowed to register as homeless and LE does not issue a warrant I am spending the balance of my afternoon drafting my new fortress.

Snip:
The girl was last seen wearing a pink dress, black and pink sneakers and a pink coat described as traditional Burmese garb.
End Snip

This is a totally different clothing description. This crap really irritates me. It is SO important to have clothing descriptions correct, especially so early in a search.

This girl went to my first elementary school - Woodrow Wilson Elementary. :(

Same here! I've never seen that before.

While they didn't issue an Amber alert right away. So Salt Lake PD jumped right on this. Helicopter, K-9's, U.S. Marshalls.

SH, you ever deal with So SLPD? They have a rep for being very mean and don't take B.S. I hope they are this way in this case too.

This case reminded me of another one near 3900 South and State. An infamous child killer named Gary Bishop. Everytime I recall that case I get ill.

I must have missed the jeans description, I have only read about the pink dress. I do not have a good feeling about this little precious. I pray I am wrong. I read the aunt was home at the time- have they checked the possibility of any of her associates? I am assuming they have now activated Amber based on dog scent? Anybody know?

Helicopters and K9 units were used in the overnight searches. I hate to say it but if K9 couldn't find her, she didn't just wander off on her own.

Snip:
Police say they don't believe the girl has ever run away in the past. They also say her family is from Burma. They say the little girl speaks very little English but does understand some English.
End Snip

All the other stories say she speaks fluent English, this one says she speaks little English and understands some English.

MEDIA GET YOUR HEADS ON STRAIGHT!!!!:furious:

Geez SQ- Feeling need for another shower.
Seriously though, isn't there some statistic about the percentage of serial killers and being Eagle Scouts?

yes still hoping, I agree and fear for her greatly. As I said, pediphilic cases really skeeve and anger me, so Im not really fluent, is 53 sex offenders in one zip a normal ratio?

Actually the house I lived in was rumored to have been his home. The basement was freaky there. I can't even describe it, but there was a wall at the end of the basement that was about 6 feet long and maybe only 3 to 4 feet deep. It looked like you could have walled up the whole front end of the basement and nobody would have been able to tell. There were slats in the wood, and you could hide back there and see out into the basement. I got a weird feeling being in there and never went back into it again. That was before I heard he lived there.

I haven't ever really been in much trouble except for shoplifting as a kid, so no I haven't dealt with them much. I hope they stand their ground and bring this child home though.

Sadly, that is one of the lowest numbers I have heard for one zip code.
