Thank god I was wrong!! I'm so thankful these children will at least still have a father. Praying this family and the family of the perp.

I'm glad you were wrong too, however I must admit my mind wandered there as well. I was about to lose faith in humanity if another husband was arrested for killing his wife.

Prayers to the family.

OMG!! I think he made a statement to the press about how sad it was.

He was actually one of the people that they interviewed on Memorial Day when the whole neighborhood was in mourning.

It was a KSL broadcast.

......AGAIN!

Did they mention what the murder weapon was? I hope her husband didn't leave the door unlocked when he left for work.

I think I heard baseball bat.

Why? Just why would an 18 yr old son of the BF kill this woman? Did she tell on him for something? Was it sexually motivated? Just why? did this kid show signs of problems?

I think I heard baseball bat.

Oh how horrible for the children! Hopefully they will remember their mom as she was in life, and NOT HOW THEY FOUND HER!!

According to the interview it was a baseball bat.

I was right on the weapon, but wrong on it being a female. But a teenage boy also works for my theory. A teenage boy, doesn't feel he has everything a man does, like strength,.....so he uses something violent like a bat...... that makes sense.

Why was he so angry with her? Sounds like he got her when she was asleep. I wonder if she got him into trouble with his parents over something.

I just wonder why he did it? I will never understand things like this.

West Valley police have made an arrest in the murder of Kimberly Hain.

On Tuesday evening, police arrested Hain's 18-year-old neighbor Martin Vuksinick and booked him into jail on charges of criminal homicide. Investigators say during interviews with Vuksinick Tuesday, he made several comments that were inconsistent with previous statements he had made to police. They also say Vuksinick made comments about the crime that only the perpetrator would know.
Police believe Vuksinick acted alone and say he lead them to to the murder weapon, a baseball bat, that he had discarded in a field. Investigators do not know if he had a relationship with Kimberly, and they gave no motive for the crime.
West Valley City police Capt. Tom McLachlan says the arrest is a relief to Kimberly Hain's family, but is obviously devastating to Vuksinick's family. (More at link)

Since he lead LE to the murder weapon, I suppose he will plead guilty? I wonder what made LE look at him?

So many questions! :waitasec:

Thank you LE for arresting this one before the funeral. This 🤬🤬🤬 would've been there paying his respects along side his mother.

What would make an 18 year old boy want to beat in the face of a 33 year old woman?

I can only think of one reason.

I am still a little fixated on the fact that he is the son of the garbage can woman. So I wonder how much she suspected? Like the fact that her "best friend" was involved with her son?

And I think family gathered there as well. This stuff is creepy in hindsight.
