It was painful, those messages being shown after prosecutors question asking whether he thought Kouri loved him. And he could not really answer.

"the trigger gets pulled"??? Had she considered shooting him instead?

I think she meant pull the trigger on her marriage (she was promising RJG that she was going to get divorced) but an especially poor choice of words (or very telling ones), considering that she pulled the trigger on ER's life.

My mom asked me about this case a bunch of times and I always meant to catch up on it on websleuths but I never really did. Now that the trial started, I’m obsessed! I keep tuning in on my phone each day, just listening and setting it near me as I go about my day.

Anyway, sorry to be superficial but her hair!! Ugh- I mean if it were me, I’d definitely have it clean since the world is watching. But I guess they’re going for the pathetic urchin look…. Also, how she applied her lipgloss when RJG stepped out for his bathroom break.

Kouri’s internet searches!!!!! Totally damning.

I think the prosecution ended RJG’s time on the stand perfectly- putting the image of Eric being a great dad in the mind of the jurors, reminding them that he’s not here because of Kouri!

When RJG was entering the court, her face almost showed some emotion. I have no doubt she’s going to try to win him back while she’s in jail. I really hope he doesn’t fall for it!

Can’t wait til court tomorrow! Also, I hate the breaks- especially the lunch break. I just want to see it all now!

My heart really goes out to Eric’s sons, sister, parents, etc….. so awful- he didn’t have to die! Kouri really messed up a lot of lives- including her own.

Is there somewhere I can see pics and or videos of Kouri in the past? I did see her fb profile pic and a couple randoms when I Google, but wondering if there’s more.

"I don't know what I need"

Going to the bathroom to (I guess) compose himself?

Sniffling

"I am in love with you, I hope that's okay."?

"Goodnight, Lima Bean"?

"balloons and cuddling with my sweetheart"?

Apologizing to the judge?

So glad his testimony is over because I don't think I could take any more

I just want to say I have never had a more unexpected reaction to a witness. I felt so sorry for this man! He REALLY loved her. I expected something completely different.

I, too, wonder if she thought she could get him to kill Eric for her. There was such a vulnerable quality to him. When someone sneezed and he said, "Bless you." My stars.

When you do the wrong things, you cannot possibly know what all of the consequences are going to be - and who will have to endure them.

I, for one, hope he finds someone wonderful and experiences a life of peace and joy and love.

is her hair dirty is why it looks so slicked back and awful? I know they get to shower or the lawyers could probably get her some dry shampoo. She is so awful looking that softening her up might help....she's guilty as sin but she might get some sympathy a bit. She is just so awful looking...like a stern school marm

In this text message from Kouri to Grossman she says (in part) "life is going to be different I promise. ....... I hate your hard days. I wish I could be there to turn them around for you.. Can I try Friday? Give me a few days......." On the screenshot the date shows 03/02/2022 which was a Wednesday and Eric ends up dying just two days later on 03/04/2022.

If I was a juror that would definitely catch my attention. She is apologizing for not being able to be there for him and says in writing "give me a few days" and in just two days her husband is dead.

When it comes to murder I don't believe in coincidences.

I found Grossman to be very real and transparent. I thought he was a great witness. He came off very authentic.

I was thinking this today too.

When they were going through the texts where Kouri is asking Grossman about drugs I thought about her getting him to assist her in some way or another with Eric's death. Or at the very least to see if he might be comfortable getting illegal drugs for her.

I felt like she was possibility putting feelers out on him and it was apparent - at least - according to Grossman she had already inquired about this topic (drugs) before with him on at least two different occasions...but yet she brings it up again to him. Hmmm.
It definitely made my ears perk up.

With that text exchange, too, I wondered if she was trying to figure out what kind of drugs to get to kill Eric. I'm not sure she was well versed in that area!

He certainly was a good witness, although I agree with the poster up thread who used the term: "melodramatic" to describe his performance on the stand

He texted: "It's draining to love you", and I believe that was true. I think he was, and still is, exhausted, and deeply unhappy - but not necessarily because of grief or sadness over the relationship with KR. I think it's just something he lives with.

I think he perhaps has significant low self esteem issues and needs counseling. That is just my opinion. He seems to be a habitual apologizer. Imo it's hard to find happiness in any relationship with that trait, which I think has deep causes:

I don't believe for an instant that KR would have ever seriously considered marrying him - or even continuing their relationship for more than a few months after ER's death. I don't think she respected him.

I find her statements like: "I'm in love with a man who's not my husband" and "I think I want you to be my husband someday" to be disingenuous and manipulative. Jmo

I think KR is a narcissist and sociopath and would say anything to get what she wants. I don't think she respects anybody, and had little respect for her boyfriend. I don't think she cares who she hurts.

I hope he finds happiness in the future too

Yes!!! This!!! Like what on earth??

She was calling about who owned the house on the day he died??? She didn't even wait a few days or a week???

Am I reading that right???
Well, she probably waited 5 minutes. After all, she needed time to grieve.

Regarding Kouri's appearance, I think they are going for the meek and mousy look. Her manipulation continues.

He does seem to have really loved KR. I believe he would be a true and loving husband/partner. I also think KR was trying to gently maneuvre him into killing/helping her kill ER, but she realized that he wouldn't be up for that.

A stern school marm is the perfect description!
