So. Let’s say she didn’t go to the park at 3am but just took the Lyft to his house. How would that have changed things?
The police and detectives would have found her a lot quicker if the Lyft took her directly to AA's house...I always thought there was a mutual agreement to meet at the park to prevent the Lyft driver from knowing where ML or AA lived...they both didn't trust the Lyft drive service...

I'm sorry again for my stupid question and if it seemed i was taking sides or defending AA.

In the still shots snatched from Salt Lake City International Airport videotape, Lueck is seen wearing a black backpack and carrying a stylish handbag as she exits the airport's departure area sometime after 2 a.m. on Monday, June 17. Lueck had arrived at the airport after attending a family funeral in California. She texted her mother at 1 a.m. Monday when she landed in Salt Lake City, according to CNN affiliate KSTU. (...)

Which part of the timeline is not correct?
The link that i read this morning (my time). It said ML texted her mom at 1 am and left the airport at 2 am.

It's not a stupid question. Some people don't have all of the details straight yet and I think others are just trying to help. I wasn't sure about the exact time line either, or exactly how long the trip from the airport to the park was at first.

I don't know for sure, but I'm thinking she is like a liason for his family - someone who knows both their language and also the U.S. legal system. I don't think she is actually HIS lawyer, as he already has one in SLC.

Just my guess.

It seems weird that he contacted a lawyer on his own if he already had a family lawyer right? Unless he was instructed to attempt hiring that local hotshot by the family lawyer? Hmmm.

There's no telling with this guy.

No, it is not plausible. Anytime mental gymnastics are involved in a theory, it is most likely not what happened. It sound like a movie plot and not real life. Besides, do we really need to give defense attorneys ideas to work with?
How do i delete my comments? It was not my intention to "give defense attorneys ideas to work with".

Yeah, I think that may have been corrected afterwards to an hour later. Imo

I'm not sure he is even involved with the NYC lawyer. I'm getting the vibe that she stepped in to help the family figure out what is happening to their son in a system unfamiliar them, not necessarily to help him. Maybe I'm totally off base.

Don't worry about it, I'm sure they can do that on their own.
If you really want to delete anything, you can go back and hit edit, then delete the comment and write the word delete in it's place. You have an hour. But it's really not necessary.
Someone else may have had the same questions! Imo

Yes... your opinion only and your words, not mine!
Again, i got an incorrect timeline that made me wonder what happened from 2am to 3 am... outside the airport and away from security cameras. I'm sorry again.
This may help - it is the most accurate timeline I've seen. Maybe we can get it stickied at the beginning of each thread? Much appreciation @Jethro4WS. :)
The timelines floating around aren't right. The police had used the expected time of arrival for the flight that night.

Per FlightAware and her Mom:

1:58 AM Flight lands.
2:01 AM MacKenzie texts her Mom that she landed. (this would be while taxiing to the gate)
2:05 AM Flight arrives at the gate.

Per police (from video at the Airport):

2:09 AM MacKenzie deplanes - appeared in the gate area (one of the photos released)
2:42 AM MacKenzie gets in the Lyft car

Per Lyft and phone records

2:59 AM MacKenzie at Hatch Park.
3:00 AM MacKenzie's phone is off.

It took 16 to 17 minutes to get to Hatch Park.

It is a shame when a terrible and violent crime is politicized and hamstringed by culture, race, gender, and class biases...
Yeah, I can understand the mother defending her son and not believing he is capable of murder. We see that all the time and it's natural.
But this lawyer is taking advantage and using it for her own agenda, apparently. Imo

Thanks, MsBetsy! Do i have to justify why i deleted the comment or writing delete is enough?

Thanks! And bearing in mind that we know that for some time between 2:09 and 2:42 she was collecting a piece of checked luggage, I think her time within the airport is adequately explained. (It might even be good to add that to the timeline. At first we wondered whether she had checked luggage, or just a carry-on.)

I thought maybe it was his mother who contacted her for help. Imo

Highlighting from yesterday's article...

Family of suspect in MacKenzie Lueck case worried about possibility of fair trial in SLC
[...]
Fashakin said she got a call from Nigeria, where Ajayi's mother has been reading news reports in disbelief.

[...]

Mrs. Ajayi wants me to let you know that she has a good son. A very hardworking son at that. A son who cares about others," said Fashakin.

[...]

Charges have not been filed yet, but once they are, Fashakin is going to work to get the trial moved out of state.

[...]

Fashakin said she knows the Ajyais from Nigeria and at this point, she has not been paid for her services.

Man accused of killing Mackenzie Lueck was banned from Utah State University in 2012 after arrested | Daily Mail Online
[...]

It has now been revealed that Utah State University banned him after his student visa expired and he was arrested on suspicion of having a stolen an iPad, a misdemeanor, according to university police reports.

The Los Angeles Times reported that police said he used the Apple device to play video games and look for a wife to avoid being deported although he was already married.

Campus police received a report the tablet was missing and it was tracked via an IP address. Law enforcement stated he lied when he said his mother gave it to him as a gift but he didn't know how to use it. They noted he had wiped the school's device and replaced the contents of it with his personal applications.

[...]

Prior to the iPad incident, cops caught him sleeping on a couch outside dorms where he claimed to be meeting a girlfriend but when they spoke to a female student inside she said Ajayi didn't have a partner living there.

An officer reported that he tried to exit a later conversation by claiming he had an exam in the morning.

The report stated: 'I asked if he had an exam for one of his classes. Ayoola paused for a moment and stated he was taking a blood test in the morning. ... I told Ayoola that I felt he was being deceitful with me, at which time he hung up on me.'

[...]

U.S. Immigration and Citizenship Services declined to provide information about when Ajayi obtained his citizenship, citing privacy protections. Ajayi was allowed to enroll in classes again in 2015 after resolving his immigration status, said Utah State spokesman Tim Vitale.

I've been wondering if things would have been different had Kenzie gone home first and met him at hatch park with her vehicle. Would he still have murdered her, and if so, then what would he have done with her car?

DBM is often used—it stands for ‘deleted by me’, and no explanation is needed. All you actually need is a placeholder—some people just type a period.

And, you don’t need to feel bad or delete anything. It was all the fault of CNN! :)
