I believe reports were that ML did not appear to be distressed (per Lyft driver), and that ML and her contact at Hatch Park greeted each other in a friendly manner.

The contact was not publicly identified as male or female, and no confirmation who loaded the luggage in the contacts vehicle.

I also have no doubt that LE knows this information. MOO
I'm not so sure LE does know. Who picked up ML and the vehicle was why LE wanted to see the park's cameras. I'm flabbergasted the city had "dummy" cameras and LE didn't know it.

I don’t remember any news media that they greeted each other in a friendly manner. Geez he didn’t even know if male or female or car how would he see that?

I hope one of the neighbors have security video or even his own ring doorbell that captured what time he pulled in and if KL was in the vehicle, if so did she walk out, was she carried out, possibly a gun to her back forcing her in with his hand over her mouth.

AA's house has a driveway on the side with the garage which is at the back. There is a gate in small section of fence between the back of the house and garage, very hidden, one step out of the car and into the backyard.

Im trying to find the photo inside the garage when LE was searching. I don’t think there was room for a car but I’m probably wrong.

Saw pictures of Hatch Park and the parking lot is not big. Pulling in at 3 am, you'd see another car in the lot. LE hasn't revealed much of what the Lyft driver told them. So, we don't know if someone got out of the other car to get ML's luggage, if the Lyft driver got out to get her luggage, if the other driver stayed in the car, got out of the car, helped with luggage, if the luggage went in the trunk or the backseat, etc. We just don't know. We really don't even know if the Lyft driver saw the driver or the car. LE told the public he didn't, but that may not be true. We don't know if the Lyft driver saw ML get into the other car. LE has been tight-lipped about the Lyft driver's statements.
LE might have been tight-lipped about the Lyft driver to protect him. He was the last “good” person to see ML alive.

No, that is not what I said.

I said contact was not publicly identified as male or female. I'm sure driver informed LE his opinion, which understandably was not shared with the public.

In fact, I don't believe we know the sex of the Lyft driver either.

Keep in mind that North Salt Lake (where Hatch Park is) and Salt Lake City are two separate cities with separate police forces. We don't know whether North Salt Lake Police knew if there were dummy cameras at Hatch Park since we haven't seen any statements from them but my guess is that they did. Salt Lake City Police, naturally, would have no idea.

I believe LE sought the camera footage to corroborate the driver's story, and not because the driver did not see. MOO

I think one of the first news reports even said she seemed "happy" to see him, but most said the Lyft driver said they seemed friendly and nothing seemed to be wrong when he dropped her off. I don't think he was paying much attention to the car or who was driving it though.

Maybe he only noticed her and what her mood was as she got out of the car and said goodbye, and didn't pay any more attention after that. He had other people to pick up so maybe he was checking his records to see where he had to go next. Imo

So I have been looking but have not seen yet....do we know how they were able to find her?

I quoted your post. I just remember when LE was asking the public’s help at the presser he said Lyft driver was cleared and didn’t get a description of AA or the car. Not even if male or female. He did say Lyft driver KL didn’t appear to be distressed which baffled me if he didn’t see how she reacted once she saw his face.

I am praying and hoping this case goes down hard on AA. With all the facts and evidence so far they already have an excellent beginning and now with the body of ML found I’m hoping it’s a winner for all innocent parties. And so thankful that ML’s family can have some closure and Peace now that they will be able to have a proper memorial service for her. These cases just break my heart for the innocent families involved. I just appreciate all you Web Sleuth's and your ideas and support for each other as we all try to make sense of each new case.

Yep and it was also said not even sure if male or female. I felt it intentionally vague or misleading and LE is allowed to do that, for good reason, they were trying to trap/get/find a perp. One time it is said they greeted each other in a friendly manner (paraphrased) and yet no idea if male or female, car model (they would let us know after making sure they had it right), etc.

Jmo though.

That, and LE also needs to protect the integrity of the case.

The Lyft driver is going to be a key witness at trial, if in fact this case goes to trial.

We may see a plea deal before that happens.

JMO.

This makes sense. I hope the Lyft driver can help the case.

No, not specifically - not anything more than what was said in the press conference. MOO
