so if you can't screenshot it, it's a fake?

No. They are not mutually exclusive.

But OP (original poster) posted a screen shot that COULD HAVE been faked. So to try and informally validate that this actually happened, we look for someone else to duplicate it. In this case, go and also screen shot the same recent activity. Just helps to verify a little better.

Questions raised about dating apps as search continues for missing Utah student
As the search for a missing University of Utah student continues, questions are being raised about whether her social media and dating accounts might lead to a break in the case.

And on Wednesday, Salt Lake City police confirmed that Mackenzie "Kenzie" Lueck sent a text to someone while she was at the airport and detectives have been in contact with that person.

Detective Michael Ruff declined to say, however, whether that person was man or woman, but said that person was not considered a suspect.

Previously, police had stated that Lueck texted her parents at 2 a.m. on June 17 when she arrived at the airport. Ruff said Wednesday that the new person police had talked to, whom she texted, was not her parents, but declined to give more details.

[...]
Makes sense. If she were hooking up with someone while at the airport, it might have been through an app, not text.

But I sure wish we knew what she was texting to her friend.

No, I just knew it would be able to be duplicated if true. I couldn’t post a screenshot from outside WS anyway and wanted to duplicate to create our own screenshot abd to prove true.

Just clarifying that it wasn't me who brought up the mental health issue (mostly because you quoted me). I'm just a run of the mill night owl! :-D
Yeah... Sorry. I noticed after I hit "post reply" I quoted the wrong person. Oops!

Sometimes I think young people forget that old people are young people with more experience.

just saying. jmo
I am one of those that keeps losing touch with the younger generation. Morals, values, and social norms are what have changed the most. It's hard to relate yet some people of the same generation impress me all the time.

MOO
My experience with the cultural group she comes from (that we are not allowed to discuss by name) is that A) It's likely that her choice of university didn't sit well with them; B) Her failure to get married by now doesn't sit well with them; and C) Her dating lifestyle REALLY doesn't sit well with them. Their family get-togethers may have so much tension you can cut it with a knife. Also, in said cultural group, it's my experience that appearances are EVERYTHING and the most important thing is always to "keep up appearances". Hence the men always in suits and the women always Stepford-ishly perfect in appearance and demeanor, at least in public.
MOO

Knowing about the family, neither A nor B is likely. Not sure about C with what they may be learning for the first time now. I doubt ANY mom or dad would be happy with their daughter involved in risky behavoir online. I know my boys use Tinder and even though they're guys, I'm not thrilled with it.

Almost certain it's a bot account. Content is bland and samey, looks basic-algorithmic to me, not curated. Suspect it's an auto-follow by her account. I ran an archive check and didn't notice many changes/updates that seemed directed, as opposed to preference-based.

No real opinion on nefariousness of said account and possible indication, nod/wink of a crime committed but honestly doubt it. The wordplay involved (SB/Sd >>> fatherless) seems too clever, one leap too many for non-specialist (non-WS) audiences.

People who work 2nd & 3rd shift as well. People who sleep during the day & not at night. Being up at 2am doesn't mean you have a mental health issue!
I don't know any college kids that go to bed early.

That’s why you need a second account just for WS sleuthing!

This has probably already been discussed, but it keeps coming to my mind.

Do we know if she has "Find Friends" or some other app that friends/family could see her location? It's possible she texted her mom to let her know she landed, got her ride with Lyft, and then turned her phone off so her friends/family couldn't see her location--i.e. meeting up with someone in the middle of the night.

Just a thought. I know I've turned my phone off when I didn't exactly want my nosey mom to know where I was.

Surely they have been told not to access since then??? If not, I’m seriously concerned! And if they did access and and follow this account they need investigated!

Forgot to include quote.

I mean the reality is it's possible she was meeting someone to pick up. Especially if she was distraught and really needed something to help her relax or escape.

However, do drug dealers give their client's rides, normally?

I don't know.

But following that line, sometimes people OD and the person with them dumps the body. It happens:

Peoria police: Man hid overdose victim's body in home, then dumped it in Arizona desert

South Florida woman sentenced for dumping body after friend overdosed

South Florida woman sentenced for dumping body after friend overdosed

South Florida woman sentenced for dumping body after friend overdosed

Middletown woman sent to prison for dumping body after overdose
I think it depends on who the dealer is. If it's a friend or acquaintance, for example, they might give them a ride. Imo

Could have been her mom. Just sayin.
