I still can't understand if this was the case why not get her own car first? Don't you think she would want to drop off her luggage before going anywhere else and at least pick up her car so she would have her own transportation and not have to pay for her rides. Why turn off her phone.i just don't see this as being the answer .
She could have been drinking on the plane or planning to at her next destination. NSL isn’t terribly far from the airport. Going home first would have been way out of the way.

Well, thinking aloud here: perhaps she made arrangements with a co-worker for a ride home after work? It would save time to go directly from the airport.

ETA: She also allegedly was turning around and going back to CA in a few days so if she did take anything with on the first trip, she may have left much of it there.
So maybe she only brought back to SLC a small piece of luggage (even just a tote bag) since she'd be right back to Cali in 3 days. Maybe even just brought her make-up...

So many variables. Not enough coffee.

Also, if her destination was a strip club, why wouldn't LE release that info? I understand they don't want to embarrass anyone, but it's not their job to keep secrets. It's their job to find missing persons. To me, it's more likely that the destination was a residence and they're not revealing that info because they don't want the destination person running scared.

Someone asked about tattoos earlier. One of her IG posts has a pic of her with a tattoo on her back and someone comments that they didn't realize she had a tat. She responded that it was henna, so I'm assuming no tattoos.

She attended a funeral; she would've brought clothes for the funeral, at least.

Well, if we go with a voluntarily missing scenario, the car would be easily located quite possibly with a BOLO and it would also show she went home and left voluntarily most likely. There would be a record of Lyft dropping her at her own home and at what time and cameras as she went through Salt Lake City with her vehicle to North Salt Lake City.

Unless she was somehow coerced, tempted or forced from the airport if she was truly at the airport (and LE would know), she went willingly and on her own it appears to NSLC for some reason. In fact, that is about the only thing I think we probably can be fairly certain of.

Jmo though.

If she did go to a club (BTW, the one closest to NSL is open until 5am) at some point she would’ve needed a ride back home. Maybe she was there at her destination and then she accepted a ride from someone later?

Was she just in L.A. for the weekend? As far as her luggage, she might’ve just had an oversized tote as her carry-on bag with a few changes of clothes in it.

right. but she was only coming back to SLC for about 3 days before heading back for a wedding. So what if she left her original luggage in Cali for the 3 days? KWIM?

Wouldn't it make sense that if she was actually working at this place and this situation has been going on for 5 days now don't you think someone would have called into correct the reports that the last person to see this girl was the driver. Unless something happened to her before getting in to the doors of her destination? If she made it in anywhere where there are other people why hasn't anyone reported seeing this girl?

She might’ve been traveling light especially if she already had clothes and shoes at her parents’ house in California.

My kids always had plenty of clothes at home when they came home from college because they didn't have enough room for everything at their dorm or apartment.

Good point and I agree that if she was working at a club there would’ve been other co-workers who saw her that night and spoken up by now. Maybe they have but it’s not being released?

I heard that an apartment complex was looked into. Not sure if it was hers or one in NSLC. Context makes me think NSLC

There are quite a few apartment complexes in NSL. Including 2-3 directly off the NSL exit if you're coming from SLC. There are some nice and newer and some more sketchy complexes right along US-89.

I do not know her or her state of mind, but her best friend insisting she doesn’t have a boyfriend is not evidence or convincing enough to me.
Everyone has secrets and perhaps this is one of hers, hopefully one that does not end horribly for her.

I think this is entirely feasible. She also allegedly attended a funeral and a wedding and was heading back shortly for another wedding. All dress clothes most likely and left at her parents and maybe her parents were seeing to it they were washed or dry cleaned while she went back for finals and ready when she arrived home again a few days later.

My adult children have clothing at my house as well as an extra phone charger and other things and they are not even at college nor that young. They visit frequently and stay over. It is far from uncommon. If this girl flew to California as often as it sounds, I would think many things of hers are there.

I also do not think having a carry on or small piece of luggage necessarily would stop anyone from going anywhere. So you have to put it in the car of a coworker you are riding with, or leave it in a work locker room, or bring it into an apartment of someone you are staying with, etc. I don't see anything so unusual about that. It is not like someone was taking their boat with and needed a place to park it lol.

Imo anyhow.

I'm sure by now LE has pulled her text messages etc. From her Phone.

It's not particularly unusual to carry around carry-on luggage, though it can be awkward. But what's unusual is the bag is also missing. Nothing of hers has been found. If she were attacked outdoors (between the Lyft and her destination, for example), there might be a phone, keys, bag, contents of a bag, etc. found.

Where is the stuff she carried?

Now it makes me wonder if her destination was one of those apartment complexes.

They don’t have her phone, and as far as getting a search warrant executed on her phone carrier, I’m not sure they have the grounds.

Unless she is on a family plan, they might not have this information yet.

I sure hope they do though, as it will go a long way to figuring out what’s going on.

Exactly. Say this was an abduction, that stuff would almost certainly be left behind.

Her stuff should be in someone’s house or apartment, likely the person she went to visit (if that was even the case).

I understand but where is she? If she is voluntarily missing, the luggage is with her. If she is involuntarily missing, something was done with it by the person who caused her to go involuntarily missing. I guess I miss the point in why anyone would necessarily think her luggage or purse should have been located when she has not been located?

Jmo.
