Sounds like LE knows where she was dropped off by the Lyft driver and there is some reason why they don’t want to disclose this info to the public. Seems like most of the media reports have been generated by friends and family.

I just skimmed through the thread, now I need to go back and read everything. I’m getting the feeling that LE has a good idea of what’s happened to her and this won’t have a good ending.

From Lyft's website:

Depending on local regulations, the use of dashboard cameras and other recording devices during rides may not be allowed. Some cities or states may require signage making known the presence of recording devices, while other regions may not allow recording devices at all.
Safety policies

I will see what I can find that is specific to Utah.

One location for the map. Sorority address at the below link. Not an entirely bad area. Expensive homes....but...the homeless and crime was pushed out of downtown. As a result they have scattered all over the valley. And so has the crime. I get a feeling that this case is personal in nature.

According to this article, dash cams in Utah are legal:

Are Dash Cams Legal? What You Should Know | Car Bibles

SABBM:
Unfortunately, not all states in the US allow dash cams to be mounted onto the windshield. ... California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Hawaii, Wisconsin, Indiana, Washington DC, and Maryland all allow dash cams to be mounted onto the windshield, but with exceptions.

So, that Lyft vehicle may have had a dash cam...or it may not.

With any luck, it did.

Can anyone tell me if there is any info on what she was wearing?
Also what kind of baggage or luggage she had?
If it's been covered sorry. Playing catch up.

Family reported ML missing to LE on Thursday.

We don't know the destination ML gave to Lyft yet.
LE almost certainly does know where ML was purportedly dropped off, though.

Given that fact, I'm a little surprised that:
  • We haven't heard of any LE-organized searches taking place anywhere yet.
  • We haven't heard of any search warrants being executed r/t her disappearance.
  • We haven't heard LE make a public appeal for people who were in _____ area to come forward if they saw MT between the hours of _____ and ______.
I'll be surprised if that doesn't happen here shortly.
Unless LE already has a really good idea of where she is and what's happened to her.

I have seen 0 information describing what she was last seen wearing,

I don't understand why a description of her clothing wouldn't be part of the official missing poster.

I would expect either video or a still image from the airport showing her in that clothing to be released at some point fairly soon.

If not, that's just plain weird.

Yes the clothing is very important.
Thanks.
Will continue to check in and out all day as I am an admin at The Truckers Missing Child Project and I am updating constantly with any news or valid info.
Everyone of these is precious to me.
Chi
ETA I have no inside info and if we received any kind of tip, it wouldn't be posted here or anywhere. It would be phoned in asap.

The poster also states she has medium length hair Unless she recently had a major haircut, her pics show clearly she has long hair

Zero days. You can report someone missing immediately anywhere in the US. But many citizens don't know that and this could have happened in this case.

Really? I didn't know this. I thought you had to wait at least wait 24 hours before you could report a missing adult.

Also, being familiar with the family I doubt Kenzie would've had to hide a relationship with a non-LDS. Of course, if you're rushing to see a new guy at 1:00 AM when you get off the plane - that's not something you necessarily want to tell your parents.

If you are familiar with the family, please consider being a verified insider.
Or if anyone posting here is able to do so, it is a simple process.
Just saying, no pressure ever.

BBM:

Precisely.

This is why I consider an arranged meet-up with "Dude X" to be the likeliest scenario.

It would also explain why she texted her mom to say the plane had landed safely vs. texting her mom when she arrived back at her place to say she'd made it back home safely.

It may also explain why alarm bells didn't sound for her roommates right away when she didn't show up back at their place.

ITA! I suppose since they are just getting started with the investigation that maybe we will be getting this information soon... I hope! I guess it’s always possible that someone “surprised” her as soon as she was dropped off at her home, but I just feel like if that were the case we would know that was her destination by now. There’s a reason LE has not released where she was dropped off. MOO

I am just hoping and wishing she is home safe and sound
asap.
Her family must be extremely worried.
My thoughts are with them.
No time for conjecture on my part right now.

Just weird that they keep referring to "her destination" instead of "home." Does this mean she didn't take the Lyft home but to another location? Sounds like it. If she had roommates, and it sounds like she did, she wouldn't worry about her cat being taken care of. And I'm a "woman of a certain age" now, but when I was younger, I would've moved heaven and earth to see a guy I was into! If I hadn't seen my guy in a few days and he wanted me to come over at 1:00 AM when I got back - I'd be there!
After reading through the entire thread and seeing she had a love interest that started pretty recently , and getting into SLC at 1am after what must have been an emotionally exhausting funeral I'd imagine she would much rather spend that night with someone that could hold her and comfort her than her roommates. Being that the relationship was so new it's possible she had never been to this recent love interests home before and was only given the address that night. She plugged it into the Lyft app (possibly incorrectly) due to it being 1am and was then dropped off at what she thought was the right location. Walked in only to find the true owner shocked that someone was trying to get into their house late at night and something bad happened they are now trying to cover up. Other scenario along these lines is she put in the correct address and the Lyft driver dropped her off close to the right spot but not quite and she just assumed this was the place and again tried to get into the wrong house late at night and something bad happened. On flights it's often hard to keep your phone charged so her battery could have been almost dead by the time she got in the Lyft and it died on the way. Like others were saying. Hopefully once the cops have her phone data it will figure out what happened. If she truly did have a new love interest, why they aren't speaking up is concerning though.

I'm afraid I agree with you on your overall assumptions about her disappearance. But also hoping we are both very wrong.

MOO: If she did have a new love, the new love might be speaking to LE, not posting on social media.
