What is the Colorado guy carrying in his hand? Is it a glove?
Yeah exactly.
Her poor friends.
Where is ML’s family?? Her mom? She texted her to say she landed. They have to be relatively close/in contact based on that text.
So let’s think. Why would a family who is decently close or at least in regular contact be keeping quiet? All you super long time sleuthers, what are situations and other cases in which family has declined from appealing for help or searching for a youngish adult child?
They just kept on talking away like "what loud music" ?....mooThey did it outside the police department.
Clearly they should have done it in the lobby.
That is hopeful info! Thank your husband for piping in from the background!I thought it was so strange that LE wouldn't identify the drop-off destination, so I asked my husband who's retired LE. He said LE wouldn't want to give out that info unless they needed the public's help, especially if the destination included a suspect. They wouldn't want the suspect to know at this point that they're looking at him. In an active investigation like this, they don't want to give out too much info and have the public interfere or show up at the site. So, I go back to believing that LE has much more info than they are revealing and maybe have revealed this info to the family, which is why they aren't rushing out to SLC. They obviously don't need the public's help at this point and see it as a possible obstruction to their investigation.
Could you please post a link to the FB page you're seeing these posts? I'm from the area and I can't find hardly any infoI am under the impression the family and friends think she has been kidnapped and do not necessarily believe she is even in Utah at this time.
Like I said, I have zero inside info.
But from their postings on the facebook they have set up that has been mentioned here, they want the search expanded into Colorado, Nevada etc.
I don't blame them because I am not at all for sure thinking this is voluntary at this point.
It may have started out that way, but I do not believe she would do this to her loved ones.

No where in the article did it say the possible kidnapping happened today. It said that a woman was heard screaming for help today from within the vehicle, in two different locations. Interesting that the SUV has no license plate and only temporary tags. MOO.I doubt the person in CO is Mackenzie.
The BF said they will be working with LE until this person is identified.
This makes absolutely no sense.
She has been missing a week and the possible kidnapping happened today.
THIS!!! I could NOT remember her name for the life of me earlier! Thank you!The way LE are handling this reminds me of Katelin Aken back in 2015. They gave the impression to the public that she was voluntarily missing and didn’t disclose much information. We all suspected the step-father. It was a couple of years before LE let the public know that the step-father is, in fact, their key person of interest. The case is still open.

It's a nice drive in the summer. sucks in the winter. gotta be careful in the Beehive state cuz they have zero tolerance for speeders. IMOJust to say, I guess that focus would be on the interstates, such as I-70.
Can anyone who has driven this route provide their thoughts?

Exactly right. They got it from SM.TBH, I think someone posted that link about someone hearing screams coming from a vehicle in Westminster, CO on their “Find MacKenzie” FB page, and the friends added that tip to their presser.
Someone just posted that link on their page not more than an hour ago.

Or if they have a potential suspect/person of interest at that location and dont want to set the person off causing them to flee by being broadcast on the media.I’ve seen it in the past, and generally it’s because they know something we don’t.
They know something they don’t want to reveal.
In order to prevent embarrassment (or something along those lines), they’ll keep quiet, especially if they don’t believe something nefarious has happened.
I am so confused as to why LE is not saying where the lyft driver dropped her off. If it is a crime scene block it off. At least they could narrow down the area.
Exactly, unless my eyes have completely gone out.No where in the article did it say the possible kidnapping happened today. It said that a woman was heard screaming for help today from within the vehicle, in two different locations. Interesting that the SUV has no license plate and only temporary tags. MOO.
