On 2nd look, 5 Jane Does compared to her were all from Virginia. I wonder if that is coincidence or if there is some reason behind that the are looking around Virginia state.

Have seen a couple of VA UID's show up in several MP exclusions found it odd, however it could be an advocate in VA working to identify the UID's or a system error on NAMUS's part.

UP # 6629 currently has 878 exclusions
UP # 12683 currently has 3570 exclusions
UP # 6661 is not pulling up in NAMUS
UP # 6303 is a male currently 1179 exclusions

There is something odd about them I'm leaning towards a NAMUS system error now that I'm looking at it

To add to the timeline for Marlene: On April 7, 1986, she crossed the center line and collided with a motorcyclist (who lost his leg), then veered across the road and went up a utility guy wire, ending up at a 45 degree angle. On May 7, 1986, she was cited for DUI. The citation was filed in court on June 10, but the process server was unable to serve her. On June 25, the summons was returned unserved, and a warrant was issued for her arrest. I don't see that it was ever served, nor any other future filings.

Kporter, thank you for an extra information. That must have been quite a traumatic event for both parties involved. This being 2nd quite serious car crash Marlene has been involved in/well, with serious consenquences, I wonder if it perhaps brought back memories from her teen years of other girl dying in car crash, this all affecting her emotionally in some way.

This new information however also opens new possibility that she might have been missing even prior to June 24th (but after May 7 when she was informed about DUI - if that was done in person).

So there are 3 options so far to her disappearance:
- due to her vulnerable emotional state
- her running away from DUI summons
- foul play (fact that she was just a year newly wed should not be ignored either, unfortunately we have seen many newly married wifes just vanish)

I am still curious to find out if Marlene had any children, how long was her first marriage, what kind of job did she do, what job did her 2nd husband do etc.

Kporter if you have and can share any, even little extra information on her case it would be highly appreciated. If there is any other photo of her, we would love to see it too.

Off topic, but I see logo above your name. Are you part of Utah Cold Case Coalition? I highly admire all their hard work, plus of course their first ever Non for profit forensic lab.

Hi, and yes, I'm a co-founder of the Utah Cold Case Coalition. Our new logo omits the Utah because we're working (volunteering) in so many states now. As for Marlene, we've ordered a copy of the case where she was sued, which may have more personal info and info about efforts to serve her (including the timing). Her husband had been paroled from prison (robbery & theft) only 3 months before marrying Marlene, after serving 3 years. By early 1987, he and a colleague were embroiled in litigation with an organization, National Handicapped (sometimes spelled Handycapped) Workers, and soon after that were sued by the State in connection with the same organization, so I suspect he ran it or was an officer/director. I'm looking for those records. He was back in prison by 1988 on more theft-type charges.

Marlene's DUI criminal case has been destroyed. It was filed as a Class B misdemeanor and likely would have pled out at a C, so she wasn't looking at much (if any) jail time.

Haven't found the divorce yet, but both Marlene and her ex remarried in 1985. Haven't found info on children yet.

In reviewing police reports in a different 1986 case recently, we found a theory regarding Marlene. We're following up on it.

That's about it for now. NAMUS corrected the spelling of her name and wrote back within minutes of our email to them.

Update: We've tracked down more records and have been able to confirm that Marlene was alive and well (as per several third party witnesses) in the Salt Lake area as of the Friday (June 20) preceding her reported disappearance.

Thank you for doing great work on the case and finding out new solid information.

Respectfully snipped by me for focus. Rereading now information about her re-marriage in 1985, something does not add up for me here. It would mean she married twice in very short period of time in the first half of the same year. While it is possible, but how likely that is?

Do we know which month in 1985 she re-married her first husband Cummings? Are we sure it was not perhaps - a divorce? In June of that same year, 1985, she already married her 2nd husband DB Pichcuskie, only 3 months after him being released from prison.

Marlene A Bradshaw married DB Pichcuskie 28 Jun 1985 in Salt Lake City

That all leaves very tight time frame. Let's say she re-married in January, was married perhaps a month or two, started dating new man for few weeks or month or two, got quickly divorced and than quickly marrying again... Hmm, that would be extremely busy half year... (Just my scattered thoughts above showing probability of all of it happening, not a fact).

In reviewing police reports in a different 1986 case recently, we found a theory regarding Marlene. We're following up on it.

Oh, I am so curious to hear about update on this one day, plus the other 1986 case :) .

Is there any update if authorities were able to obtain her DNA by now from any of her remaining siblings as it was listed as not available on her NamUs file in 2018?

Hello, this is an old thread, but I'm hoping someone is still watching. I happened to be doing a search for Pichcuskie and found this. Without saying too much, can someone tell me more about DB Pichcuskie? A man with a sketchy past and a very long story was married to my mother with that name and would likely be around the same age as Marlene's husband. Just curious. My family has always known he was a bad dude and we knew he had a record. He used several aliases but we believe his real name was Pichcuskie. Thanks!
