Police searching for missing Provo man
The Provo Police are asking for the public’s assistance. Please be on the lookout for Matthew “Brett” Pitts. We are interested to find Mr. Pitts and check on his welfare.
• Last seen yesterday morning when he left his phone at home and work identification at work.
• Driving white 2013 Ford Escape (UT W739CL)
• 42 years old
• 5’11” tall, 200 pounds and physically fit
• Short brown hair with some grey
• Reddish brown beard
• Likely wearing dark grey cargo shorts, grey Arcteryx brand shoes with red trim, and a Boston Red Sox jersey and hat.
• Large eagle tattoo that covers his right shoulder partially visible below t-shirt sleeve
• Black circle and a blue star tattoo on his upper back
• Likely headed out of the Provo area
The police do not consider Mr. Pitts to be a public danger of any kind, but we are eager to locate him and check on his welfare. Mr. Pitts is listed NCIC missing so any officer or agency can access necessary information to check on him when found. If you see this individual or vehicle please call the police.
