So how is the defense saying that Alex (the oldest girl and suspicious of her father) got hold of Ada and prepare Ada so she could draw a detailed drawing of her mom in the bottom of the bath tub? Was the drawing taken immediately after the drowning or years later? The stick figure looks like a very young person drew it.

:dunno: I haven't seen that. Do you know where I can?

I think it is pretty crappy of the defense to say the things they have about Ada. She is just a kid, defense or not, I don't think they have the right to say she has no memory so off the cuff like they are. :twocents:

:maddening:

I don't remember where I saw the drawing done by a child showing a lady in dark top and bottom clothing in the bottom of a bath tub. She also said her mother's face was above the water and her mom's hair was going down the drain.

Sounds like it. So I have to wonder why the prosecution waited until now to add her? :waitasec:

Is the blonde lady they keep showing Michelle's sister?

I appreciate the quiet, respectful manner in which this case is being tried.

Same here. Now that I'm over my initial fear of Judge Pullum I kinda like him, he speaks softly but wields a powerful judicial stick that all attnys seem to realize, not a bit of foolishness going on in that courtroom.

I like JM and his boisterousness but I am enjoying the tranquility of this trial.

I loved it when the defense complained to the judge about the tub still being right there in front of the jury.
so the judge asked the pros if they had anymore witnesses that would be speaking about the tub. I think they said not much longer or something.
Then the judge asked the Defense, are you gonna need the tub for your defense......said something like...probably

duh

I believe so as it has been reported on HLN that Michele's Sisters are in the Courtroom.

hey, Bravo!

yes, the way I understood the pros this afternoon, Ada will be in court at 1030 on Thursday. The poor child is only 12 years old now. My heart breaks for her.

Am looking forward to seeing Gypsy. Wonder how martin will respond?

I think his arrogance knows no bounds. He had hoodwinked the government and medical community with getting disability for many years. He had hoodwinked school officials into getting his degrees in both medicine and the legal field. He probably slept around hoodwinking his wife with stories of long, doctor hours.

Until I see a marriage license a signed license I don't believe he married Gypsy.

I'm sorry, but when I see "I don't believe he married Gypsy," I have to laugh.

One of life's basic rules seems as if it should be, "Don't ever have an extramarital affair with someone named 'Gypsy!'"

It's like the one, "Don't ever play poker with someone named after a city!"

I mean, seriously - can you imagine what that poor woman thought when she found out that not only was her husband having an affair, he was having an affair with someone named "Gypsy?"

Does anyone know what Gypsy does for a living? I understand they met online so it appears they didn't meet at the workplace.

Ok, so the defense is taking the position that Ada has no memory. She only knows what she has been told. :sigh:

The judge wants her available Thursday morning. She is 12 now. They are going to have her come in so the judge can assess if she can testify. The jury will come in late.

This poor, little girl has already endured more in her life than any person should have to endure in a lifetime. Her mother dies suspiciously. Her older sister disappears to the Ukraine for a year. Her older brother commits suicide. Her sweet father tries to give her away to "family friends." All this, in twelve years.

Gypsy's testimony should be riveting. What kinds of completely psycho stuff is she going to have to say? Even if she had absolutely nothing to do with Michelle's death, how is she possibly going to try and justify the rest of her nasty behavior?

I don't know what she did previously. As of now, she is a convicted felon. I'm guessing her current line of work is "Unemployed."

I want to know if she and the good doctor are maintaining some kind of relationship. In some of the pictures from his preliminary hearing, she can be seen giving him a sweet look as she's coming off the stand. His back is to the camera, so it's impossible to tell if he's reciprocating.

One question (sorry for all the posts in a row) - what is the maximum sentence the prosecutor is seeking for this?

It will be most interesting. I wonder if she will distance herself from Martin and slam him. Sing the ole song how he strung her along saying he was promising a Divorce YADAYADAYADA.
