I really like Doug. He doesn't seem to get flustered by the grim reapers smile.

He is certain he would have been able to get her out of the tub by himself. Unlike defendant, who apparently needed help.

OMG.....now we are discussing her weight.....attorney wanted to know if witness said to interviewers that she had put on weight.

She was too large for Christy to get out of the tub by herself........witness acknowleges that he said she was too large to get out of the tub.......how would you do that......witness says would have just done it.

I am not understanding how this line of questioning goes to McNeil being not guilty.

Are they seriously thinking ANYONE is going to buy defendant's lie that he had a TOE (not foot, lot ligament, not leg, TOE) injury so couldn't lift his allegedly dying wife from the tub? Bthc please...

how old are you.. 6 yrs older than I was then.

I like the way this witness (Doug) is not letting the defense cherry pick the lines from his previous testimony in the preliminary hearing. Doug is making sure that he states that that line is correct, but that the following lines bring forward the full picture of his testimony.

Witness did not notice a pile of dirty clothes cause he would have used it to clean up the water and mucus.

Ok serious question.......would all that mucus be produced after a drowning or after an overdose of medication? I just don't think of mucus being produced from a drowning but not ever having drowned or been around a drowning victim I have no idea about the mucus production.

oh that judge. forgot about jury questions again!

  • #533
Judge had to be reminded about jury questions again.

A couple questions:
Approach called by judge about the questions
Camera going to the defendant who would looks like someone I know......it will come to me.....going over all the cra cra in my life to find the one with this defendants eyes.

One question....when you cleaned up the McNeil's bathroom what exactly did you clean up?

Water on the floor....mucus on the edge of the tub....something inside the bedroom could not get it cleaned up it looked stained........

I just got to thinking...It seems like the surgeon was just starting out. I wonder if Macneil thought he would have a better chance of controlling him, vs someone who had been in practice a long time.

There was a typical type bed and a hospital type bed in the bedroom....from the witness.

So somebody hired a hospital bed for a face lift? Or is this something they always had in their bedroom?
