White undershirt, she had a bra and a black garment over the top. WTF?????

It's likely the white undershirt was part of her Mormon garments and some people wear them that way, next to the skin, bra on top.

None of the witnesses agree with what clothing Michelle was wearing when they interacted with her body.

Now I am really confused with the clothes stuff.

And I am confused by the wetness. The neighbor guy didn't think Michelle was wet but this witness thought she was soaking wet.

That is what I thought. But in earlier testimony the person testifying was asked if the white shirt was a regular shirt or a LDS garment. Answer was regular clothing. Gosh, I hope I heard correctly. ETA: One witness said the white shirt had spaghetti straps and witness Christy (pretty blond nervous) said it was like a wife beater shirt.

No court Monday??

  • #566
Court in recess until Tuesday.....isn't this awfully early in the day for recess?

  • #567
Done until Tuesday.... lazy much?

No court Monday??

From what I understand this court is dark on Mondays......but then judge just said that the courtroom would be used Monday so I don't know what is going on.

LOL feed is still live and there are three men in black suits up at the judge's desk leaning over.......

I am as well. Surely someone didn't try to redress her before EMT arrived?

The bra/no bra is confusing. Maybe the bra was bunched up way over the breasts so the neighbors that helped could not see it. ??

They could all benefit by a little NoDoz & RedBull.

Or, maybe it's me.... spoiled after having seen Juan Martinez in the courtroom. This is an interesting case, but none of the players in the court are interesting... or particularly sharp.

Am so spoiled from the Pietz trial in Wa, no sidebars. The audio I had towards the end was remarkable. This is like beginning over a bit, and this is also just a side eye glance. Judge looks bored, not a happy camper, my audio on fox is low and Not great either, but I am happy to get it. I might even be able to comment on the trial by next Tuesday, well, that might be way too soon. -g

It was rented and he had it removed the same day she died, I believe.

Wonder if he rented it to prevent it getting soiled in the event that she died?!!

Who rents a hospital bed for plastic surgery?
Surely those 15 pillows could have kept her head elevated!

Moo - the hospital bed shows premeditation.

Wow. MacNeill sounds like a complete psychopath! He lies more than he breathes!

But didn't the neighbor's husband say she had a white shirt with spagetti straps on- nothing else. A bra would be bulky and show??? The clothes part is confusing. :scared:
So far, I don't see any "gas cans" here. I need much more for "guilty", as I don't know too much about the case.

When I get into a tub, I always put my head on the opposite side of the faucet. You bonk your head on it if you lay the other way.

My faucet is mounted on the side, but I still place my feet nearest it.

(Scratching my head here)
Would a man know that?

Points to a staged scene IMO

I suppose that means that she removed her bra, but kept her undershirt on, or someone put an undershirt on her after she removed her bra.

It sounds like the neighbor arrived to help with the body and when he wanted to clean up, he realized that there were no towels. He went to he laundry, got some towels, and after it was all over, he put the bra and the towels back with the laundry. The defense seems to want to suggest that the bra was mixed up in the towels.

I suppose the implication is that there were no towels in the bathroom when she was pretty much undressed for a bath ... were her eyes still bandaged?

That point was certainly raised. Who sticks their head under the tab when running a bath? Or was she slumped over the side of the tub with her head in the water?

I don't think that it was staged. Clearly she drowned.

Was this mentioned/questioned by either side or a juror question?
