No kidding. I have long hair, and would never think of washing it in the tub. Makes no sense at all.

There is a shower right next to the tub. Makes more sense to use that as it seems there would be way too much pressure on her sutures from hanging her head over a tub like that. I would guess that if it was OK with her doc to wash her hair, it was probably Ok to get a little splashing on the sutures.

Explain that to me- they would insert an IV while they do CPR??? I've never heard of that happening- unless could it be to administer epinephine to help restart the heart?

EMT's would have inserted an IV before transporting. It was indicated that Michelle was given Glucose and that would be done IV. Glucose is given in a very large volume, so an IV is necessary and the med is more effective. Resuscitation drugs are best given IV, though epinephrine (to try and jump start the heart) can be given via the endotrachial tube into the airway where it would be absorbed. Most effective is IV, since large volumes of fluid are also necessary since cardiac arrest results in circulatory collapse (micro circulation opens up after an initial constriction and blood pools outside the central circulation (there is not enough blood in the main vessels to support circulation). Hope this makes sense.

the first IV was put in by the EMT's. she came to ER with an IV

Chest compressions might be effective if the person delivering them were in the tub straddling the person and facing them as well. Marty didn't do this.

I believe I was quoting the testimony of the ER doctor.

and I agree with you.

internet went down.....have missed all witnesses since lunch

I gather this guy was a co-worker of marty's

he spoke about marty's toe

he wrote a letter to HR

not intended to be seen by marty

that his physical and mental condition has gone down hill since his wife's death

perhaps marty wanted to get disability from the state?????

Defendant wanted his son and son's girlfriend to count the prescriptions in each bottle.......lol......alibi time big time.....covering his behind in the event that there was too few. And he had a big story for this counting procedure too.

girlfriend arrived at home

marty and Damien there

went back to bedroom

marty asked her to remove Michele's medications 10-15 after her arrival

marty had them do a medication count for each med

marty counting and Damien recording

marty wanted to know how Michele died; said she wasn't taking her medication
and that she had high blood pressure and high cholesterol

some pills white, some blue.......may have been 5-10 bottles of pills

list left on table

marty asked her to flush pills

Just got up to speed on this case. Wow what a back story of lies and close relatives die around the defendant. Moo

Girlfriend says defendant said there was blood everywhere in the bathroom and he thought Michelle had hit her head. Witness says she did not see all this blood. She was barefoot and stepped in a wet spot in the bedroom.

Eileen's testimony

she tidied up the bedroom but it was fairly neat to begin with
said hospital bed was made up

Once again, marty told her that there was blood everywhere
because marty believe Michele fell and hit her head

noticed the bedroom carpet was wet....barefoot

blood stain about the size of a dollar

didn't pick up any clothing or such

rearranged magazines only - everything was already very neat

Everything was already very neat......did the defendant not give away Michelle's clothing a few days after her death? Or was it a few days after the funeral. Didn't defendant move Gypsy in the day of the funeral? So I would assume the clothing was gone before then, right?
