So far I cannot get over how ultra conservative this judge is and how he seems pro defense. I also can't get past Warren Jeff's look alike as a Def Atty. I also have issues with the Def asking ev witness if she "had her garments on" insinuating what, that she either is or isn't a "good" mormon etc. He makes me sick. I hear his tone; and it's all WJs speak to me. No offense to anyone mormon; I just cannot take it after the FLDS. So when I watch this trial I am distracted by many things going on in the court room. Mainly this judge and how unintelligent he seems. Usually the judges are so wicked smart but not so this one. I do NOT like his rulings to date.

I went back to listen to end of yesterday. Judge asked the Jurors to come back for 10:30 a.m. today. So that would be 12:30 EST. Yes with the seal up perhaps an early start????

IIRC the judge asked the attorneys if the two hours before Ada arrived would be enough time to argue....(and then my mind goes blank as to subject).

As I posted earlier the WAT site stated Court would go until 6 p.m. EST today. We have dinner reservations for 6:30 :tantrum: I'll have to really plan during breaks to see Trial yet be ready.

Are Michele's autopsy/lab work published for viewing? I would be interested in knowing what her Acetaminophen level was, since this is a component of hydrocodone.

I want to know her potassium level as it relates to others typical with a MC...

I believe the parties are to be there at 8:30 to decide on Ada and such.

That's my recollection as well. I believe the arguments are whether Ada's testimony will be allowed. Appears the Defense argument is that Ada's memory may have been influenced over time by her older Sister she lives with. IMO the Judge will not exclude her but may tighten the reigns on what she can testify to. IMO.

Yesterday they said they would start early with proffering her. Then they said the first to witnesses were LE. Then she would be late in the day IF testimony allowed and I see no reason to not allow it. This def atty's ideas and NOTIONS of a "CHILD" not having thier own independant memories or rather he'd like to say FALSE memories was CACA. He really irks me. Can't ya tell hehe.

Yes that is my understanding as well. Lawyers 8:30. Jurors 10:30.

Agree. Most times in life is there anyone more brutally honest than a child?

Good morning! Glad to see everyone and some newbies..........WELCOME

The attorneys were to be in court this am, so I am hoping we will get to hear judge/pro/def discussions. They should be deciding whether Ida will testify at all; and if she does, will it be taped - will her face be shown or not, etc. Ada was to show up in court around 1030 court time.

I enjoy this judge more when the jury is not in the room. But I am sure he feels he must act a certain way. I like that he doesn't permit a lot of SIDEbar.

we should have the 2 investigators also today.
