Valium is an oldie but goodie med that is used for muscle spasms. More effective than Flexeril, Soma etc. Most people think of Valium for nerves. It is a benzo so docs don't like to use it as much for those that are drug "naive". I have never heard that term. Love it.

I'm hoping the defense thinks they're smarter than a 12 year old. I think MacNeill enjoys tormenting his family.

So sad, but true. I think he's one of those who, once you cross him, writes you off as dead, or just offs you. His demeanor while Rachel was testifying showed that. In the beginning, he was trying to look aggrieved, but later dropped the pretense and just looked aggravated.

LMAO I'm glad he mentioned Phenegran (sp?) being prescribed for Allergies. I recognized the name as a drug my Allergist had me take many years ago. What I do remember was I stopped taking it. It dried up every orifice. And I mean every orifice :scared: It was a horrid feeling.

I took it prior to a colonoscopy to counter-act the nausea drinking the glop caused. Took it a few times after, as well. Got rid of the nausea, but made me drowsy.

I remember a commercial a couple of years ago. It was for something minor (like a cold?) but the possible side effects had me LMAO. Besides suicide and sleep walking another was uncontrollable gambling. Can you imagine waking up in your pjs clutching a leg of lamb in one hand and at the Osage Nation Casino throwing your kids college tuition on lucky number 7. :floorlaugh:

Ugh. I really don't like the way this judge runs his courtroom. At first I liked him because he seems neutral and fair, following the law.

But this is nuts -- this is not voir dire, it's cross examination, and why is the prosecutor not objecting to this?

I would imagine The testimony of this wonderful toxicologist must be difficult for the lay person to understand. I understand most of it as it is part of my vernacular. Do you all think the jury is getting all of this?

Yeah, my head snapped up at the mention of that as well. This courtroom is wonky. Reminds me of a bunch of High schoolers playing court? It's just weird.

I'm grasping a lot of it as well but previously said I'm worried it's way over the jurors heads I'm worried they're tuning out like we are and there is some very important testimony mixed up in here.

No way in heck. I would consider myself a pretty intelligent person, and there's a whole lot of this that isn't making sense or is so technical that I just tune out
