I think that Gypsy's parents are so "normal" and looked like they were good parents (from the HLN interview last night). They don't condone her actions with MM.
They did think that MM influenced her, tho'.
I feel for them.

Morning everybody!

Did anybody catch Gypsy's parent on HLN last night? And give the highlights?
I don't understand why they would want to be interviewed? Their daughter isn't on trial and IMO they had nothing to do directly with the death of Michele. Their daughter may have egged MacNeill but that has not been proven and ultimately it was his decision to hold Michele's head under water while she fought for air.

The three daughters are to be called today. I hope the State starts pressing home the father they know who is capable of killing their mother. I am worried how much was gagged from reaching the jury.

Thank God for Medicaid preventing MacNeill from 'treating' older patients. I wonder if he did indeed put any 'out of their misery'.

Lie 7: In 1990, MacNeill was taken to court over another matter — Medicaid fraud — and was banned from having any Medicare patients for the next 12 years.

I'm surprised at how many of these sociopathic types commit insurance fraud. Maybe it is a testing ground before doing other more outrageous things.

I did watch and thought it was excellent. Just my opine but I can imagine they have been hounded for comments. They did make it clear they don't have any contact with Gypsy. I think they are ashamed and embarrassed for her part in bringing pain to so many. IMO they are two very classy folk.

That's interesting as many disabled people also have Medicare. When did he start at the developmental center?

Medicare also covers disabled people of all ages.

It breaks my heart Martin had access to such vulnerable people. I provide Services to a vulnerable population and some of their stories of abuse or merely being taken advantage of for property or money is devastating.

JMO but it seemed Gypsy's parents were over the moon when she brought MacNeill home to them. The fact he was a (supposed) Dr and Lawyer...they probably had many problems with Gypsy and thought she was finally getting herself together.

That is so sad that they aren't close to their daughter. They are still raising Gypsy's daughter aren't they? One day that little girl will want the truth about her birth unless they go to their grave with it. For some reason Ted Bundy and his mother who was his grandmother and his sister who was his mother popped into my head.

They did State that. Gypsy seemed to attach herself to less than desirable men. Probably thought finally a stable and caring man. It was not stated in the Interview but the banner had Gypsy's Dad as Dr.....sorry cant remember his first name. Dr. of what I don't know.

Oh I thought that was Medicaid but I imagine both may be under the same umbrella and off limits to the doctor.

My two cents on why Gypsy and Martin never got married? Gypsy dropped him after he forfeited his medical licenses and moved on to the next putz.

It is sad. At the end tho they did want to direct to her door is open. Words to that effect. I can only imagine the pain Gypsy has caused them over the years. IMO.

Good morning. Very cold here today. But it is going to be hot in that courtroom. Emotions may be running high among all of us while we watch these young ladies facing the man that turned their world upside down.
