I don't think she'll need one, though - she's one calm lady. I am so impressed with her!

I'm sure Aunt Linda is making sure that all of the girls are being well taken care of during this trial.

Additionally, there are other inconsistencies in her previous testimony (as there always are) that he is digging at to make it appear she is being untruthful.

His little dig about her previous legal action against her father over the proceeds from the house is an indirect way of telling the jury that her motive is pecuniary (monetary).

We will hear all these little inconsistencies regurgitated in his final/closing remarks. I suspect he was as successful w/ the jury as he appears to be w/ those of us here on this forum.

Since the defense lawyer decided to open the door to the previous legal action that Alexis has taken against her father I feel that it is only fair that the State now be allowed to bring in the legal action taken against Martin for the sexual assault.

I wouldn't say she is "concocting" but when you firmly believe something (such as dad murdered mom and I hate him) your memory may change, having been influenced by your conclusion. She very well may not, at this point, be able to separate out the truth from what her mind is filling in.

I am an RN ( for 35 years) and nursing instructor. A stool softener is routine following surgery, especially one where the patient is under anesthesia for a lengthy amount of time ( over 3-4 hours) Hers was approximately 8 hours. Anesthesia affects all major organs of the body. The GI system shuts down and it takes a few days for it to return to normal. Often patients become constipated because of this. The problem that causes is straining, which should be avoided at all costs, to protect the incisions and stitches from rupturing.

Putting her hand to her throat can also be a sign that she is upset. She is after all talking about the death of her mother and believes that her father killed her mother. Add to that she is a new mom of twins and she has a lot on her mind and plate. Then she has to contend with a defense lawyer that asks the same questions repeatedly trying to trip her up, getting an attitude with her, claiming that she made up a "story", and making snide remarks when she answers a question that is not to his satisfaction.

IMO Alexis did very well. She came across as completely believable and strong.

I don't see that happening, however the legal action she took as executrix of the estate was predicated on something and I suspect it was MM's illegal transference of the assets to Gypsy Willis' name.

As I understand the facts, MM fraudulently placed a lien of $1 million against the house so that the property could not be sold. I suspect the details of this action were previously suppressed as not being germaine to this case, but now the Defense has 'opened the door' and they may have given the Prosecution a welcome opening to show what transpired in this regard. We shall see.

I don't take that as lying, I take it as a nervous gesture. I always were my Italian horn and am always reaching for it to play with. I smoke, so I'm a "fiddler" when I can't. Sometimes I forget to put on my horn and end up with my fingers playing around my neck reaching for the darned thing.

Well the state should now be able to say that MM was trying to put the house in Gypsy's idenity stolen name (Jyllian Giselle Macneill), so the kids would get nothing! They opened the door!!

I tend to agree with most of this. I am not sure she deliberately concocted anything but I can see it coming across as she did to others. Hopefully, not to the jury.

I think she did very good, considering the circumstances.
