Highly unlikely that her death would be a result of natural causes---> plastic surgeons routinely check to ensure that one is stable (health-wise) enough for surgery through a bout of routinized checks so that they thwart the lawsuits brought about by performing surgery on unhealthy patients.

No way that it was natural causes that caused her demise. No way!

Curious if you've been following the case very much? The original ME ruled her death due to natural causes/myocarditis that can result in sudden death. A subsequent ME ruled the death due to myocarditis plus drug toxicity.

I think some of the witnesses are remembering incorrectly. The EMT's cut off her bra, garment and long sleeved shirt, so she must have still been wearing that when the EMT's got there, and they were the last to arrive.

Did I hear correctly today about DR Grey being on the witness stand tomorrow?

Combinations of medications found in Michele MacNeill's system were determined to have contributed to her death. Diazepam, Oxycodone, Promethazine and Zolpidem were all found in her system. Although none of the drugs alone was at toxic levels, Dr. Todd Grey, chief medical examiner of the Utah State Medical Examiner's Office, determined that, in combination, the drugs could have led to sedation and heart arrhythmia, resulting in cardiac death.

Damian overdosed on prescription medication (I have seen comments that he also placed a bag over his head for good measure ) Damian was in NY at the time at NYU, I do not think Martin had anything at all to do with this event. Damian posted a few very depressing posts to his Facebook account the day of or night before his suicide. His official date of death is the day after Michele's birthday

Hi, I agree with you. i have wondered about some of the Dr.'s patients! I read he claimed to have "put people out of their misery." This makes me wonder. They dont autopsy everyone who dies in a hospital. wonder if they could check their potassium levels yet. Mine dropped when I was sick, giving me a very mild heart attack. Lucky I was in the hospital at the time. I'd like to see them check a few older patients or cancer patients. Might be done someday but illegal now. ( I'm getting up there) :floorlaugh:

From a macro ("big picture") pespective, no one else had a desire or motive to see Michelle dead except for her hubby who was on to "bigger and better" things.

It's as obvious as the potato on his toe. Or the nose on his face.

I'm surprised at how many of these sociopathic types commit insurance fraud. Maybe it is a testing ground before doing other more outrageous things.

I'm a little puzzled by the statement that after being convicted of Medicaid fraud, he was banned from having any Medicare patients. Medicaid and Medicare often work together, but are not the same entity, so I suspect this is a misstatement.

Either way, whether it was Medicare or Medicaid, it seems his work with the special needs population was in violation of the order.

If MM was banned as an individual, working in a large institution would have provided a perfect cover. IMO, the billing for services would more than likely been under the institutions name and not under his. Just a thought.

Michael Pastore (Conrad Murray Judge) voiceover pipes in his welcome instructions "that I give to every witness in every trial...please don't use slang "uh-huh", "un-hunh" for answers that are yes or no....finally, please wait to hear the entire question before answering,even if you are sure of the answer, ok?!" LOVED HIM, this trial drives me a little nuts because of him,though! Anyone else waiting to hear,"Is that YES?"!

I believe they did and they thought they might have to post pone Alexis redirect due to scheduling conflicts with Dr. Grey, who I believe is scheduled for the morning, and is suppose to take up a good amount of time.

Yes, I think that would be Giselle. I don't see any resemblance to the girl calling herself Noelle, really.

But, Ada is really young in both the picture with Noelle and the family picture with Giselle. So it seems they must have been there at the same time at some time.

Just never pictures together. Strange.

Sabrina stated in her testimony that she has never met Noelle, doesn't know what Giselle is doing right now, and she is currently living with Elle, ho was from her orphanage in the Ukraine. Perhaps the adoption with Noelle got cancelled. Although I believe she has the MacNeill last name......which she may just be using in the SM???

So....Giselle and Noelle are not the same person.

I found that to be sickening, the comment about no uterus and the laughing that followed. How totally disrespectful! Alexis should have reported the ME to the Medical Board.

I imagine Dr. MacNeill was sanctioned by the US OIG. This would ban him from billing for Medicare as well as Medicaid, since both are under CMS (Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services). I'm gonna have a look see at the OIG site.

ETA: yes, he is listed on the Exclusion list and it does cover both Medicare and Medicaid.

Vanessa is an admitted addict to heroin and she has been clean since, I believe she said 2011. Maybe at the time she asked her parents to adopt her child. To be sure you may want to refer back to the 20/20 interview that her parents gave. They may have stated the reason there.
