Jumped into this trial just yesterday. Read all background pieces linked to it, then listened to Ava's interview that was played in court.

Don't have the stomach for this trial. Ava's interview broke my heart. That sad small soft voice saying I don't want to talk about it. That her mommy liked being with her. That she missed her mommy.

Having a young child myself, I find this unbearable. I hope he's found guilty and put away forever. The Gypsy sociopath shouldn't be allowed freedom either, but it looks like she was given a pass.

I believe that MM is a killer. I believe that anyone who snitches or attempts to won't be forgotton by him in any shape or form. Jmo

I don't know why MacNeill was in such a hurry for the autopsy to take place but it would not be because the drugs would show up any more as time passed. Metabolization stops at time of death. Period.

Theoretically there could be some degradation of certain substances within the blood after death - but not metabolites of drugs to my knowledge. What is there is there.

For instance, in the case of the limo driver in Princess Di's death blood samples were taken on the day the car wreck happened. When levels came back so high on certain items (alcohol and carbon monoxide) further samples were taken some 3 days later. Those measurements were almost identical to the originals.

Not that in the limo driver's case it wasn't alleged that some other person's blood was substitued. That allegation stems from the very high levels of carbon monoxide that have never been explained.

I rarely see a Judge rule off the cuff in a Murder Trial. I think they like to search a bit. Trying to avoid Appellate issues. I cant imagine a Judge memorizing or even keeping up to date without some research.

I think MacNeill was so sure of his supposed superior intelligence and ability to charm that he wanted things to move quickly. Tie up all lose ends ie get rid of the kids and bury Michele etc so he could start to LIVE with Gypsy. JMO

Very surprised he didn't insist on cremation but maybe that is against Mormon beliefs? And he is all about saving face.

Is it just me or has <modsnip> Spencer not been able to impeach any of Alexis' testimony? IMO Alexis has a plausible explanation for any discrepancies.
