I thought she graduated from Medical School a few months ago?

She's now a full-fledged doctor. She finished her residency and stayed on there until she gave birth to her twins.

If she's graduated from Medical School, then she is a DO.

" After completing medical school, students earn their doctor of medicine degrees (MDs), although they must complete additional training before practicing on their own as a physician. (Note: Some physicians receive a doctor of osteopathic medicine [DO.page degreeExternal Link from a college of osteopathic medicine.)"

I just looked her up. She is a family physician in Provo, Utah. Bless her. Fewer and fewer docs are going into FP.

That's my understanding as well.

Alexis is amazing. As tough as it is on her I'm glad she is the one that headed this getting to Trial. She was born to testify. Sadly. I believe the Jurors will find her credible. Gosh my Mom died accidently. My Dad heart attack. There are moments I remember vividly and others that are a blur. Murder wasn't involved of course and the emotions of that horror attached. I think the Jurors will more than understand small discrepancies. IMO.

Truthfully, I never know if a doctor is an MD or DO unless I see it typed somewhere. Their signatures look like chicken scratch. To me, it doesn't matter. As long as they know what they are doing and do it well, I don't see any difference. However, I love it when the DOs used to crack our necks. Heaven.

I swear Dr.'s take an oath to chicken scrawl. I can decipher most but if your not familiar it's impossible

Well, I guess this judge is "By the Book", literally and figuratively.

I rewound the WAT feed. The brouhaha was in cross over a 2008 email she sent to Doug Whitney where she said the hospital would only release records to her father, so she used an MD friend to get them. Prosecution objected and judge took a recess to research his pretrial ruling on that.

Judge came back and said he had found that ruling. He said he ruled it can't be proven that she misrepresented, but that it can be inquired into during cross. (Does that make sense?)

So anyway, the cross on her in this area will continue. The prosecution also (duh) indicated they will have some redirect.

omg you guys, this testimony is driving ME bonkers. I can't see how Alexis doesn't loose her <modsnip>
and tell defense counsel where to put his questions.
