Well, this was not a game changer either way. I truly hope Jason gets his act together. It is never too late. Unless you off someone - I think you loose your humanity when you kill.

I like this judge. He explains why objections are sustained or overruled.

Re-Cross........

defense showing jason his statement as to what marty told him

saying jason never said....marty was fighting with wife....and that wife was upset with marty having for affairs

saying jason just brought this up today

now talking about possible pending felonies......

trying to get jason to say that the state needed him.....

.........oh, let it go Defense.....

Spencer went one step too far -- charges for selling fake Rolex watches were not going forward due to lack of evidence.

  • #269
Does the defense attorney have OCD or something? Honestly how much of what he does really sticks with the jury? IMO he's ridiculous.

  • #270
Oh come ON, Spencer, would YOU put yourself in danger by reporting it to someone at the jail? Young man did the right thing, reported it to his attorney, and is doing the right thing now.

  • #271
 Spencer acts like he just pulled out the smoking gun, that Jason wanted commissary items and his care packages!

  • #272
It's sounding like Poirier has more to lose by testifying than by not. I wonder how the jury is seeing it.

I'm amazed how rare the state objects. Isn't this re-cross supposed to be limited to stuff that was on re-direct?

The deal about putting money on another inmates account is such a common occurance...its just what they do..

Give it up. spencer is no match for this savvy witness.

Spencer points out Poirier had a "whole lot to gain." "I have a whole lot to lose," he replies. @fox13now #MartinMacNeill #MacNeilltrial

The jurors will be ready for lunch today!

No matter how hard he tries, Spencer can NOT equate his client's crimes to this guy's. Trouble is, his client's whole life has been felonious, what with faking college transcripts and classes to breeze through the rest of med. school. Probably the same with law school. He's committed worse crimes than this guy since he was even younger than this guy.

This guy and the murderer don't equate at all, IMHO. This guy is a veritable .

the def attorney needs to be careful. He looks desperate.:scared: Not good to show the jury that.

JMHO

That backfired too -- MacNeill was getting a cut!

I think he is now thumbing through his papers looking for the pencil theft! :waitasec:
