I believe they do it so the state can't take any restitution owed or other fines.

I know for a fact the also do it because some inmates are not classified yet as to be able to get commisary orders..there are various reasons for this, sometimes just as simpe as they have been moved and not classified as being able to do so yet..

And again this judge FORGETS to ask if the Jurors hv any questions and he was quite ready to get him off the stand. This judge should be removed, he doesn't know the law and he can't remember the law or the proper procedure IMMHO!!!
