Excluding attorney's no laptops, recording devices, cell phones or any other electronic devices are allowed in any court in VA.

I'm sure the Judge can replay whatever the Court Reporter's use to record. It is a big deal if anything was heard that should not be. However, that does not mean the jury heard any of it. We shall see.

Does anyone here have WAT? They have a replay.

Can you go back and listen to those few minutes and tell us what it says?

Please!

WAT reloaded on my comp so I cant go back to listen. Hopefully someone else that has WAT on hasn't had the same issue.

I believe it was said a paralegal did it. I am sure it was an accident that she won't make again....EVER!!

<mod snip> It is the judge's job to control his courtroom and the administration of justice, and I think he is doing that.

I agree. Less chance of any appeals being granted should MM be convicted.

Dang - I rewound and found it, then when I went to play it back the WAT livestream reset.

I believe it was when judge was giving his admonitions to the jury immediately before he dismissed them.

Did the same to me.......perhaps they are giving tape to judge?

I tried to rewind WAT and it wouldn't go back far enough, I kept getting the seal :(

Found the recorded WAT from court this morning and am listening to it now to find the spot. When I find it I will edit this post to add it.

What could be heard before the judge began yelling:

"Today in the trial of the Utah doctor who's wife was found dead......"

Nothing else can be clearly heard, thanks judge, so no a bathtub being mentioned was not heard.

They could have passed by any room and heard something...they go home each night so who is to say that have not watched/listened to news?

It's at approximately 3:20 on WAT, and is inaudible on the stream. The state attorney's all had their hands to their mouths afterward. Embarrassed ?

I found it. You cannot hear anything it's saying. It's around the 3:15 mark, give or take - I'm trying to find the exact point again.

If jurors are disobeying instructions and it's proven, that is a serious problem.
