Why did "AV" want to pursue this? This has got to be really hard.

IMO, this is a piece of cake for "AV" compared to burying your mom knowing your dad put her into that cold ground, taking on the responsibility of raising your siblings, enduring the murder trial, maintaining an income and a personal life. "AV" inherited the softness of her mom and the hardness of her dad in a ratio that makes her one helluva woman.
