Many of the questions here, will be answered by the data on his devices.

I can’t imagine the hours of work that will go into analyzing all of that.

Text messages, phone location, dating apps, Google searches, social media; God knows what else.
Add financial records to that as well.

Nothing personal to you and thanks for the information on a topic unfamiliar to me, but ugh, creepy.

Is there any indication so far that this young woman consented to this kind of treatment and loss of privacy?

KL mention online relationships - which I understood as webcam girl. I could be wrong.

So help me God if I get banned again for mentioning SD and SB norms ... I feel like it should be okay at this point since everyone else is talking about it.

Online relationships in the SB/SD community typically don't mean webcam girl; that would be called camming. An online relationship for SD/SB is one that doesn't have a face-to-face element, which could mean sending personal videos, communicating over text/phone calls only, that kind of thing.

Webcam girls usually perform for an audience. Online relationships just means the relationship solely takes place online.

I honestly have had no doubts he’s had quite a past and if he’s not murdered before that his rages would develop into murder...as they quite obviously have. What a sick waste of human flesh he is.

Never accused because charges were never filed. The cops never even bothered to interview him. Just a report made.
Sensational DM.

Um, the co-worker accused him.

How are people finding AA on these fetish websites? I looked at bondage.com and am horrified. How do you look for him?

I cannot believe the words some use to describe this such as “torment” “brutal” “helpless” “mercy” all in reference to women. The images are gruesome. It’s no wonder we have crimes. They say it’s consensual, until it’s not. It only takes one sociopath like a BTK killer for things to go south.

To him, probably sadism and power, and his Meetup profile listing almost all types of sex among his interest proves your statement. However, the bait to women, his possible victims, would have been some sexual activity. He won’t write “power play” in his profile.
Where is his meet up profile?

The best term I encountered for this world is “unregulated”.

This article was prompted by the death of Hope Barden, who performed webcam erotic performances and, encouraged by a client, Dungar, performed a dangerous show that ended up in accidental auto-asphyxiation. A beautiful and obviously, very kind person who planned to work with learning-disabled children, Hope, is dead at 21.

Webcam girls share 'dark side' of job after woman died during 'depraved' sex act

Do I blame the women? No! Simply, before, we had the world full of pervs, voyeurs, froitteurs, exhibitionists, and now we have all the same plus the Internet.

I don't see how that works. Once a report is made, LE investigates and the DA then decides to prosecute or not based on what they find. The person filing the report does not make that decision, it is out of their hands once the report is filed.

Short of physically destroying the hard drive his videos were saved, forensic computer specialists can access or recover deleted data.

Not necessarily. There are fairly simple ways of securely erasing data from hard drives. Just deleting a file does not work however, since all you are deleting are the pointers to the sectors where the data is stored, the sectors themselves are still there (until overwritten by subsequent file saves)

Based on what we know about this case, it seems pretty clear that ML and AA had some sort of relationship. I doubt that it was anything out of the ordinary or involved any of the more salacious speculation being made here.

There are also reports of AA taking rejection in his relationships badly, as well as him having anger issues.

I think it is likely that they just got into some sort of argument where she told him to take a hike, and she ended up dead when he flew into a rage. All the rest was a clumsy attempt to cover it up.

Where is his meet up profile?
I have it archived and personally feel it contains some very important data in terms of his position as a "Coordinator" to one very specific group but I do not know if it is allowed or not as I am still learning the ins and outs from this site. I sent the data to the Facebook WS moderator yesterday but I am unsure as to if I can post the archive of his MeetUp page here. May I?

I can agree that the DM is built on sensationalism and often inaccurate.

True, charges were never brought. And, while the technical meaning of accused is a formal charging of a crime, many here are looking at accused as someone claiming to have been raped. A report was made via a hospital visit. An investigation occurred and charges were not filed because the survivor chose not to do so. I am unaware that we have all of the case facts as to an interview or depth that the police went to in the investigation. We don't know when the survivor refused to press charges--the night she was interviewed, two days later, or a month later.

But the police department put out a statement about the attack (it is somewhere on the last thread and the Washington Post noted it here https://www.washingtonpost.com/nati...c551ea5a43b_story.html?utm_term=.e5bb9470835a).

Actually looking at the site rules it appears that I can given the UnSub has been verified by the local police. If I am incorrect about this I apologize and will remove. Here is the archive of his MeetUp page:

This specifically stood out to me (picture) along with his California Travel and Adventure Club.

Community gardener, conscious living and, oh, he must now be a Free Mason! This guy was all over the place, but I hope he is now in his final place - jail.

He has a ‘Forge Identity’ FB page. There’s also a promo video for the book that was posted there July 28, 2018.

catching up after almost 24 hours off-thread :O

So, I see we have a Logan address ascribed to the perp - it's about two blocks from where I live and only about 4 from where I grew up. Just down the street from utah state university. I'm curious about whether anyone I knew lived in those apartments during the time AA did.
Was there any mention earlier of what the tech company in Logan was that AA worked for (at the time the earlier rape allegation was made - not looking to sleuth the survivor, just looking for more info on his history)?

on another topic, I am wondering if AA did film any of his crimes, that that's how LE knows what happened to her, even without (complete) remains/COD...I wonder if the FBI/other agencies are still here bc of dark web connections related to this or other crimes by AA.

Also, seriously thinking of sending West Point a message about taking down their murderer PR photos... yikes.
He claims to have worked at Goldman Sachs and one of the articles about the rape mentions that they worked together at a “financial services” company.

And someone should definitely alert West Point about that video.
