Hmm seeing that a previous renter of his AirBnB said he asked her a bunch of questions, seemed overly interested in her, tried to friend her, etc. I wonder if ML ever visited someone she knew who was staying at his AirBnB and that is how he got interested in her. I'm sure LE is looking into past renters of his place. She would have no reason to stay there, as she has her own place in SLC. But maybe a friend or acquaintance from out of town who was visiting SLC rented his AirBnB, she visited or came to pick them up or whatever, and he saw her, maybe talked to her for a bit, got her name, etc. They could have connected on social media after. This is all MOO, obviously, but it would explain a connection between them.

really strange IF there are that many in one room, the outside of the house I see four total. one on each of three sides and one above the garage door. for good coverage the normal outside would be two each side aimed to cross view.

There is no logical explanation to why she would meet someone she had never met before at 3am in a park so far out of her way. She seemed to have basic common sense so the only real possiblity here is she knew him and trusted him. The Lift driver reported that she seemed to know the person in Hatch Park and was happy to see them.

Did the Lyft person say she knew the person? I didn't get that specific info, only that she seemed comfortable.

Whatever the case, the person was not trustworthy, whether ML was under that impression or not.

But if people want to think a friend would meet her in this way, well, fine. It's an option. I just don't think it's a possibility at all.

She was set up, imo, and preyed upon precisely because she was trusting a stranger.

Has anyone discussed the theory that he may have tried to blackmail her that night? Perhaps he was going to out her to her family and he demanded she meet him after she landed. I can sort of see it if he has knowledge of her dating history or God forbid video of the two of them.

I don’t know if that’s even plausible. I definitely wouldn’t meet some sketchy guy in a park after he threatened me. I’d go to the police so maybe this doesn’t make any sense.

I just don’t see her not going straight home unless she was coerced. And I do believe that whatever happened, happened right away. So I don’t think that it was a friendly meetup with a guy she trusted that went bad. I see it as a trap

Probably another nothing deal but I guess we will see. Not getting my hopes up anymore for useful information after the last couple PC's but I guess we will see. Would think if they had something major it would probably get leaked before the PC. My guess they just talk about the Instagram like on that "fatherless" account yesterday which doesn't give us much IMO.

I sure hope LE is making progress... Finding technological and physical breadcrumb clues to solve this case. There's a random quote that's stuck in my head related to work... Simply put it's "speed is the enemy of quality" (or something like that). LE needs both speed and accuracy to find Kenzie.
